massive current draw can fook an alternator, maybe running loads of amps? When you pull the driveshafts out of a 03 172 box does the oil come out of the diff houseing or is it sealed?

trace the problem along the pipes by pulling them off where they split/meet the washer jets turn the washer on and see if water comes out. my guess is its got blocked and is coming out of a relief valve

check your coolant, sounds like your warnig lights are coming on for low coolant, mayby your water pump is leaking
