Miltage, lets face it, its your car, putting it on will make it look better, so the voice of opinion isnt going to win this one! its exactly what ive done to mine, and people can say what they like!.
Besides, if people are too concerned over a badge just what is the world coming to?!

Scratched the surface of my rear alloy wheel yesterday on a kerb that was sticking out
Does anyone know a good way to remove the scratches/ cover them over.
Read somewhere that covering with clear nail varnish could work?! anyone had experience of this?

How long have you had the battery? or perhaps the alternator belt is slack and is slipping slightly at high speed (esp. high revs) this would result in less power, ie. dimming effect.
the key is quality rather than size or quantity. If you upgrade all the speakers with top of the range and a superb 10" sub, youll have a sweet sounding system rather than throwing 6x9s and a 12" sub in which sounds pants.
Animals in the road are just plain scarey. Driving to bournemouth one night in my lovely Saxo I came accross a bull on the other side of the road!! all i could see was its reflective eyes! well scarey, because had it been on my side of the road it would have been beef dinners for 6 months...
mmm, he must be angry. something must have annoyed him about 172 owners? perhaps he got slaughtered in a race! Still, if you dont have a love for clios even if you have one then you shouldnt be on this board.
A 172 is going to pee on a 1.4 16V anyday, anytime.
Im saving up for a V6, and...

for the sake of typing out an essay!! id do a search if I was you! its not that difficult and takes 5-20 minutes depending on how many times youve done it before
Contacted renault ages ago, b4 i bought my car back in july 01, and they said because the headlights are made of plastic then there is no need to manufacture protectors for them.
hope that helps.
Quote "What Renault ought to do is to make you prove you have a certain car to buy the relevant decal parts for it"
I believe this is standard renault procedure. they ask for details of certain numbers inside the door of your 172 before they get the parts. This is also a security issue so you...
the airbag is not attached. you need to pull forward and lift at the same time. It almost feels like it just wont come away, but i got so angry I took the aggressive approach and it came free.
But then you have full access.
the plastic tray thing is the useless piece of trash that they stuck under the passenger seat that you can remove by undoing one screw at the front. Just about large enough to hold 2 cans of coke.
Has anyone actually tried getting the seat out?!! looks as though you have to jack the car up and remove some rubber thingys (technical I know) to get to the nuts (dry roasted).
Cant believe it, some little sod has nicked one of my valve caps. Now ive got to pay 5 quid for a set of four. typical. Doesnt matter how tight you do them up, they still manage to get them off. Might try putting grease on them!!
Anyone found a neat location to fit their amp? under the passenger seat after removing that nasty holder thing looks the best bet.
Key criteria are 1. Not visible!! this may seem obvious, but the seat has to be forward two clicks for total stealth from outside.
2. Somewhere which makes it...
On the subject of lowering!! is the kit 4 springs or two? ie. does the mk.2 have trailing arms that need adjusting like a saxo, or is it a case of fit the springs and yipee its all lowered?!!
