    Pete's Grey/Orange Clio 182

No more added to the car yet... however rear shocks arrived today and fronts should arrive tomorrow so hopefully if I catch some time off Wednesday or Thursday I'll get the car down and on the Turbines. I did however have the car out over the weekend, cleaned up nicely with a nice example...

    EX04 - Aldershot

Purely to keep bonnet shut at the moment, I read up on a few of the horror stories people had with their bonnets flinging up at motorway speeds and a week later had the pins on. However, ideally I would love to turbo to car in future. Once cash allows I'm sure it'll be done.. however...

    Pete's Grey/Orange Clio 182

I figured its time to start a project thread as my cars beginning to come together slowly now. I've had the car about a year. I bought the car with around 80k miles on the clock, however driving to and from Manchester / Carlisle from Surrey I have racked up the milage to just over 100k... my car...

    EX04 - Aldershot

Snappy did the wheel :) Fantastic job. Only gripe is that standard 182 wheels could do with being a tad smaller for drivability, but does look neat. That were indeed me I was just going to pop some air in the tyres after lots of milage over the weekend. I don't know if you noticed... or maybe...

    EX04 - Aldershot

    wow.. giving it some beans! Yet to take mine to track. Did you prepare the car yourself? I didn't realise the dash was flocked until watching that video, just had mine done by the flock shop in Gosport, sterling job;

    RX53 Silver 172 - M3 I think...

On drive home from Bournemouth I spotted this. Think a member on here? There was a cliosport.net sticker in the window. I sat behind for a few seconds then went past, in my 182 with orange badges / bullets.

Turbines lows and camber suggestions / pics?

Hi all, My cars currently undergoing lots of money splurging as 100 miles to go until the golden 100,000 mark! Giving it abit of a makeover. Next on the list to pop on is the freshly refurbed power coated and diamond cut turbines... However I'm guessing being that they're an inch smaller than...

Setting Speedo Dial Positions - Needles reading inaccurately

Hi J, yup run the diagnostic / calibration mode as above, think we posted the same time! The problem really is that the needles pop down instead of up when the car is switched off, so they just go out of line abit more every time. If you go to your car and switch on then switch it off you'll see...

Setting Speedo Dial Positions - Needles reading inaccurately

Yup I know how to run the test tihngy, holding down the stalk and turning ignition on. Ok I shall persevere. And yes, after some frustration I did start trying to align them while on... however have also tried doing it by popping them off and back on, which fixed the MPH but still getting the...

Setting Speedo Dial Positions - Needles reading inaccurately

Cheers Kayzee. The problem I'm having is that they're flicking down when the car is turned off instead of up, so they're going about half a mm out every time I switch the car off. Not a clue how the MPH dial started flicking up again. Did you experience the same problem when setting yours?

Setting Speedo Dial Positions - Needles reading inaccurately

Hi all, I've made up a set of dials from an original set and on coming to fit them I'm having abit of a nightmare with the needles. The rev counter sat perfectly the first time I popped the needles back on however the MPH, fuel gauge and oil temp were all resetting incorrectly.. basically once...

Trophy on Charterhouse Road, Godalming yesterday morning

On the way to work I was pleasantly surprised to see a Trophy parked up along Charterhouse Road. If you're a permanent Godalming resident that means there's now a V6 and a Trophy within a mile of each other.. great scenery for the daily commute :)

Turbines with no centre cap key

didn't realise the bolts were aluminium into aluminium. Wheels had been sitting so the bolts had completely seized up. Ended up having to smash the bolts off with chisel and hammer, now getting drilled and rethreaded and popping in some new bolts that won't do the same!

    Steering Wheels (Snappy Ones)

Already got an orange airbag sticker, plus got a couple of grey and orange stickers made up by n2grafix to go with colour scheme :) Dash is also off getting professionally flocked, with abit of orange and grey to go around the speedo dials. Should beable to fit everything back by Sunday fingers...

    Steering Wheels (Snappy Ones)

Just received my wheel... I went for design inspired by the Clio 200 Gordini steering wheel. I was originally going to go for Orange with grey leather at the top but Snappy suggested using some alcantara and after some thinking I decided to go with it, and couldn't be happier! Looks awesome and...

Turbines with no centre cap key

Hi all, I bought some turbines over the weekend from a club member, and on getting home realised I hadn't asked for the key. The guy, friendly enough though he is, has proven an absolute nightmare to get in touch with. So basically I have the wheels, 3 have centre caps on, the other was held...

Buzzing sound from under bonnet / tickover noise

Hi all, I was out by the car tonight sorting a speaker issue and noticed that there was a persistent buzzing noise coming from inside the engine bay. I think the noise happens when the bonnet is open. However, the bonnet was definitely shut tight. I thought it may be because the car doors were...

    AK03 Clio 172 on M3

^^^ Clio p**n. Rear badge was still sliver... could do with being bronze or black. IMHO. Was that an Ayrton Senna sticker on the boot? Couldn't see a cliosport.net sticker otherwise I would of made more effort to give a honk and wave!

    AK03 Clio 172 on M3

It is unfortunately.. popped in some new door speakers and tweeters as the standard ones were naff.. the sound is terrible at the moment though, need to buy a different amp or something. It is getting slightly irritating driving everywhere with no door cards or dash but don't want to pop it all...
