firstly i would go to a garage and find out how much it will cost to repair. if it is a lot give your insurance company a ring, normally they will give you a choice of using one of thier approved repairers or supplying your own. if you go for the latter they might ask for 3 quotes if it is...
if there is a crease in the boot floor pan, then it is quite a big job as this will need to be replaced, it shouldnt be banged out as the metal has now been weakened.
if the fuel tank has been damaged then some of the pipework could also have been hit so i wouldnt drive it as this could...
have u tried back flushing your radiator, just disconnect the radiators feed and return hose from your engineand rinse through using a hose pipe connected to the return hose.
thing is most engines are development of older units, the F4R (current 2.0) is the same bottom end as the F3R (old renault 2.0 8v) which in turn was a development of the old 1.8 unit.
just point him to this website, think you might find it will shut him up...
a lot insurance companies base their premiums on how many claims a certain model of car has had in the past, people were reporting that the 182 is cheaper to insure than a 172, only because the 172 has been around a lot longer than the 182 so more claims have been made for 172s. the insurance...

wasnt the 182 a marketing ploy because peugeot had launched the gti 180?, at the end of the day 10hp is going to make bugger all difference. the main reason why the figures differ is down to driver ability and the current conditions. run your car on a hot day and the performance will suffer...
reliability is probably the most important aspect of rallying, look at peugeot in this years WRC. they had a fantastic car but were let down by an awful gearbox
these waivers are not worth the paper they are written on, the car is in thier possesion and they are responsible for it. if something breaks or is damaged through their negligence then they are at fault.
would you sign a waiver when you take your car to renault for a service?
sounds bout right, remember VAT is not paid on secondhand cars so 13k-17.5% is about £10700, the dealer is not going to make much money on it with imports selling for around £12.5k
mines about half a gollon out on the gallons used, this in turn puts my mpg out, just filled it up and the mpg was saying 43, worked it out afterwards and it came to 40. so i dont really trust it to take the tank very low
next year the euro 4 emissions standard comes into play, thes limits are very tight compared to the current euro 3 (which are inturn tight compared to the euro 2 and 1 standard). however this is only applicable to new cars manufactured after jan 05. so it looks like they are not making the...
currently averaging 42.5mpg. i have been taking it easy this week because i do about 80 mile a day, got pissed of having to go to the petrol station all the time
have u got a capacitor inline with your amps power supply? what is your actual setup i.e how many amps, what type, are they individually powered from the battery?
same here, well slippy at out there. been taking it really easy this week and im averaging nearly 43 mpg, well chuffed with that as i do at least 400 miles a week :D
a mate of mine had one of the first uno turbos, excellent engine, was still on the original turbo at 130k. only problem was that they tended to rust rather quickly, and in the end the engine fell out!
heres my list
1) pug 205 1.9 gti - better than the golf
2) golf mk1 gti - the original...
the law says that the only white light source on the rear of a car can be the reversing light, as the number plates are reflective they are classed as a light source and so having a white number plate on the rear of a car is illegal
