its the amp! characteristic of a class A amplifier, dont worry about it coz it wont do any damage. have you thought about getting a class D amp, lots of power and very low THD
your own insurance company should pay for the repairs then look to reclaim the costs from the person/insurance company who is at fault. It is up 2 your insurance company to do the chasing around. thats what we pay our premiums for. I wouldnt bother getting quotes just get your insurance...
some light engine work never harmed anyone, wouldnt bother with cams, just get the head flowed and polished, maybe an exhaust, airfilter and a chip. have you considered having the suspension rebuilt? this can make a huge differance as you dont really notice it getting tired. i wouldnt bother...
i thought most petrol cars CR was about 9:1 to 10:1, so the 172/182 has a high compression ratio. Its very hard to map a car to run fine on any fuel, the 172/182 will struggle to run at any decent power on American Regular which is an 87 RON fuel, even the premium in the US is only 91. As for...
Renault recommend 98 for the 172/182, but say that it will run fine on 95. However running on 95 will not put out as much power as 98 as the ECU will r****d the ignition a little bit.
have to agree with you, im getting pretty sick of it all. At the end of the day the 172 and the cup are more or less the same car, granted the cup is lighter but there are so many variables i.e fuel load, engine condition, DRIVER, that the performance difference between the two is minimal...
i was thinking about getting a gti 180 but read a few reviews and most of them didnt like the seating position and said the steering was "vague". Had a test drive in one and thought the reviews were a load of b****cks, however that was until i drove a 2 year old 172, felt a lot tighter and a...
Security on the UK supplied 182 has a cat 1 alarm/immobiliser as standard, european supplied only have a cat 2 immobiliser. parking on public roads overnight is all relative to where you live, personally i try to avoid leaving it on the road over night, because i dont want it to get damaged.
how accurate is the trip computer? mine tends to read about 2 mpg over the actual true figure. Also the "gallons used" under reads a little, the other day it said i had used 7.6 gallons and i managed to get 8.2 gallons in when filling up.
passed in 95,
A reg metro 1.3
D reg Vauxhall nova saloon 1.2 (could get 40mph out of first and 70 out of second)
C reg Series 1 Escort RS turbo custom (had well over 250bhp and at best did around 15mpg, not bad for a 19 year old)
G reg vauxhall astra 1.3
L reg rover 216 gti
R reg...
Dont know if this has been posted before, and dont know how accurate it is. nice to see how a cup compares to the likes of tvrs and ferraris
