Lowered my ph2 172 myself just fitted springs all round. 35 drop on front and 30mm drop on rear. Front end looks fine

Yesterday morning i replaced the rear springs with -30mm springs and i have -35mm for the front (which i am going to let the local garage deal with)

got a mk2 clio
jacked it up at rear on the sills
undone 19mm bolt into axle and the springs should be easy to pull out (some say they just drop out)
But mine are pretty well stuck in there
any ideas how to get them out?
