steering has gone really heavy, and the sterring wheel gets to a point and you have to force it onto full lock, there's also a loud clonk when this happens, there is also a slight vibration in the sterring wheel on full right lock, as if the steering wheel wants to come away.

Picked up a ph2 172 dash and steering wheel for £60!
Ripped out my old dash and imediatly run into problems, first problem was that the 172 dash's heating instruments were all electronic, and mine is all cable pulleys, so I got a pully system heater pannel from a dynamic.

rubbed down a set of wheels (not down to bear metal) and when i primerd them it started reacting with the old paint, will I have to strip them back to bear metal?
