I've not driven the Corsa, but I think it loks horrible, way to over the top and chavvy. I'd definitely have the R27 in liquid yellow or racing blue! Also, going from reviews I'd pick the 197.
If you're going to drive sensibly then you should be fine, as you're not a 17 year old guy after all!
But I crashed my first car, it was only a 1L, but it made me more careful. My second car was a 1.6 and seemed like a rocket to me, needless to say, I was young and maybe a tad irrisponsible...
I know what you mean, I drive my boyfriends 1.2 clio on a regular basis, and at one point I drove it continuosly for a week or so. It felt so good to get back in mine!

Geekham - Yeah I painted them myself, used Hammerite Smooth paint form Halfords.
Ali - The vee is definitely calling, but unfortunatley I can't afford a Liquid yellow yet, so am making do lol!

Have just had Eibach Sportlines fitted (thanks Ollie1982 for fitting them for me :D ) I love them! They seem to make the steering feel much more responsive, plus it's even more fun to drive than before :D

I saw a lunar grey at the motorshow (probably the same one as above) It's not really a very nice colour but for some reason I still quite like it! I wouldn't buy it mind, but still...
