Dito ^^ they're awesome, not that anyone listens
80mm should be the distance the car has been lowered by from say the arch to the centrecap or edge of rim e.g. standard distance 120mm new distance 40mm
Not really a problem as such but basically I'm after some sort of rubber edging but have no idea where to get it from! I've cut holes in the arches for brake ducts and I want something to cover the edge to make it look a bit tidier.
Any ideas? :S
I've bought several of these now, osram cobalt blues, phillips bluevision etc and none of them give the look I want. Considering HIDs but I'd rather get normal bulbs if possible.
Just want something with a slight but noticeable blue tinge to them but ones that still give decent light. I think...
Wouldn't bother changing the rears personally, waste of money. If you really wanted to change them don't spend any more than about £25 on a set of type e's.
The hertz stuff is good, I fitted a set of dsk165's to a mates car and they were impressive :) Think it'd be worth fitting 6.5" comps...
Great advice! Too many people get caught up on buying loads of different waxes and then don't spend enough time polishing.
The carlack polish is pretty good; I've got the #7 and clearkote and I prefer the clearkote myself.
Took it all out to fit brake ducts and it didn't work when I put it back in! Think the rain my have damaged them... They're too big to fit back in there anyway now.
What's so good about an air horn? Loud?
Looking for something fairly small to replace the current clio one. Not too fussed on the sound tbh! I've seen the PIAA ones etc but don't really want to spend that as I can't remember the last time I actually used the horn!
Any suggestions?
12.9 is this grade? Looks like an M8 bolt? Thinking I'll need 25mm and then a few washers.
Anyone got any links to stronger bolts? Can only find a2 grade...
Fearless: yeh bucket seat subframes :)
Whole thing weighs 9kg :D half the weight of the original!
The only things I can say against it:
- They don't include the bolts or clamp needed to fit (but an exhaust place will have these)
- The sections of the exhaust don't match the original, so for example you couldn't fit this to a...
Flux are only good with mods btw. For example a standard trophy fc was 3k to insure, one with an exhaust on it was 1600 lol. The cheap companies they use will not quote on standard cars IIRC.
Do these come with the side mounts or subframes? I had a set but my mum moved em and I think they've fallen in the blue recycling box so they're long gone :dapprove:
Edit - Will probably order some anyway, what grade do they need to be?
From the look of the originals I was under the impression that I could just use them once carbon door cards are fitted but apparently i'll need cup racer ones? Anyone know where I can get these if this is the case? I think they are these (on the passenger side door):
