Fvcking awesome.
I’d love one thats as quick as a bike to smoke these utter arse pirates in the highlands during the summer. Lottery win i’ll 100% buy that Ariel Atom V8 they’re selling for 225k first lol.
You’re right, the good thing about the Focus is everyone gets to experience the sense of occasion. By the time it has its 7th engine every apprentice mechanic will be able to tell their grand children how good they are.
If i’d commited myself to owning a flagship premium car that needed an engine change 8k in then i’d be more inclined to make sure i thrashed the next one.
These engines are allegedly bench tested? One way to find out.
Fails again?
You’ll love Golf R ownership. Stage 1 R’s with DSG make 60 in...
I agree with you completley on the fact not all issues will be caught and almost all manufacturers will have a recall at some stage of the proceedings but for the flagship model to be needing an engine is entirely unacceptable.
If i’m spending 35k on a car, i expect recalls to be for software...

This is going to cost Ford a fvcking fortune!
A boy i know that has one that went pop a while back said the engine all in was 7k and four wheels lead time from Germany?
You should know by now that if someone has an opinion on the internet, yours is completley null and void.
Think of it as everyone having sky but that f**king dude getting erect over five door hot hatches in here being the only barer of a remote.
Slowly slowly going off Cs for the first time...
Not bad Terry.
I found that the reliability thing is true, for the engine. Everything else about Type R’s is subjective for me.
I really hope this is reliable for you, you’re f**king due it.
Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer?
You sound like you want to hear the good old “it doesn’t look that bad m9” so you don’t have to have it replaced, comfort blanket of strangers on a forum, comments.
The reality is, there is no way to tell how new/old a belt is, so if you have no...
