its like you have been listening in....kind of,
i visited the clio today and had a good chat about colours with my mate, i am now wide-open on choice again, but thoughts are spinning...
I am now not so much thinking about colours but more styles, looking for inspiraction, 80's racecars, cafe...
called the AA chap, explained everything and he said the same....
i have since purchased a new battery but not fitted it yet, hopefully should sort it,
i suspected it was not the battery as the car had all other electric functions and after trawling CS and finding it could be much worse i am...
seems a common problem (i have done a search).
had intermittent starting problems this week with the DCi with it culminating in it not starting at all today.
WEDNESDAY (morning): car would not start, so took girlfriends car, was leant a charger and jump pack that day
WEDNESDAY (evening)...
i can't wait tbh....
it's like you read my mind, ha, i was literally only coming on here now to pm you asking how you did the front crossmember.
I was looking at the swagers and thinking "there is no way he slotted one part inside the crossmember".... but you did,
so how did you hold the bolt...
any luck with this mate?
that won't compliment the yellow already part of the car sadly.....
however i am pretty keen on an earlier suggestion,
oh, and made an order yesterday... should do the job along with the swagers
hmmm... not keen on Macadamia but Umber metallic is a very good shout mate, got me thinking now.
cheers for the info guys, going to get on this asap, may be in-touch chap
whys that?
apart from loosening originally they have been very very good, probably won't change them until i look at...
looking for a colour i like.... f*ck what colours track cars are MEANT to be painted...lol
as said previously my painter mate wants to paint it in proper race livery still.... i was unsure on it, with it still being initially road legal.
maybe dark metallic grey with some kind of satin black /...
i wish i had the capability to do that, but a mate was very kind to do these for me.....
so where it says 40mm flare tool, would the hole saw for that hole have to be 40mm? do you see where i am coming from?...lol. trying to figure what hole saws i need now
i think i am going to end up going...
Swagers,
you make a hole in the panel of choice first with a hole saw, you then go through it with a swager which puts a collar on it making it look neater but also making it stronger
