i was wondering about the plastics, it does also hold the shape of the bumper however keeping it somewhat attached much better.

yeah know how you mean mate, but best to take time and get it right at this stage, know your feelings though, mine has seen absolutely no progress at all in what must be about 3-4 months now....
it may look different and not that noticable when you have windows / rubbers in etc, probably...

as Gray said, the dci runs a male connector out of the calliper and a female from the loom side,
the 172 calliper runs a female connector out of the calliper
so once the conversion was done we had 2 female connectors. we switched the connectors on one side but we have still got an ABS/SERV...

i had flat ones made up for the track car, then was going to use spacers (galvanised rubber (hockey pucks cut to size)) to space them.... should be something in my build thread

i have posted a thread asking somewhere else but just incase someone see's it here,
do the 172's / 182's and the lower spec models share similar/ the same mounts? (more importantly the upper gearbox mount?)
