Has the oil been changed since you was told 5w40 was the wrong oil grade? Or do you still have the same oil in?

You might get an advisory if it's not working because I've had advisories just for having a split rubber on the rear wiper in the past.

Yeah and the 40 is the viscosity when the oil is hot inside the engine apparently. I'm pretty clueless what all the figures mean to be honest lol. Just make sure I use the right grade and stick it in and hope for the best :o
