Went for a drive with my mate tonight and whilst travelling back over from Cadishead to Irlam along the cadishead way I noticed a massive patch of white paint. I had no choice but to drive through it as my mate was behind me and there was other cars on the otherside of the road.
Got home to...
French electrics performing at their very best again I see lol.
Never heard of that before on any car and I've had some strange electrical issues with mine in the past.
Mine does the same after it's been stood over night and when I fire it up for the 1st time. It's only started doing it since the cold damp weather has hit us so I'm inclined to think it's down to what you've mentioned.
I know, I just noticed the date after I'd posted lol.
Yeah, I was even looking at trying to get a 2nd hand UCH and fitting it myself but what I was told several times is it's not just a plug and play job. Apparently it needs coding to your car, hence the reason I let Renault do the job.
Oh...
Think I have a problem with the stalk, the intermittent wiper doesn't work on all the settings. It'll work on two of the fastest settings but if I have it set on the lower speed settings the wipers never come on. Everything else works on the stalk, i.e normal wiper, fast wiper, rear wiper, water...
Wish this info was available a few months ago.
I had to have a new UCH due to my right indicator being constantly on and never canceling off. Not sure exactly how much it set me back because I had other work done as well but it was in the region of £350-£380.
Edit: Just noticed the date it...
Pretty expensive route to take though for little gains. £200+ for a 2nd hand manifold, £200/£250 for the sports cat + fitting (unless you do it yourself).
When mine wouldn't start, there was nothing there at all, the lights came up on my dash, imobliser would disarm but when I tried to start it there was nothing at all, wouldn't even crank. Just got a clicking noise from the starter.
Mine started off just doing it occasionally, it gradually got...
When it does decide it doesn't want to start, do you just get a clicking from the engine bay? If so it'll be a starter motor issue, mine was exactly the same.
Haha! I know, I know, I was just playing.
Love the noise Yozzas make but it's the tailpipe sticking out at the bottom of the bumper that puts me off them.
Agreed!
I've got DS2500 pads and they do produce alot of brake dust and doesn't take long before my wheels are filthy. I just keep on top of them and make sure I clean the dust off regular and my wheels appear to be fine. I've heard the Mintex pads are suppose to of similar performance as the...
Yeah and the 40 is the viscosity when the oil is hot inside the engine apparently. I'm pretty clueless what all the figures mean to be honest lol. Just make sure I use the right grade and stick it in and hope for the best :o
