Mine does the same thing, is it more pronounced at 3krpm? Apparently it's something to do with one of the Aux pulleys. Mine's done it since I bought the car (8months ago) and it hasn't developed in to anything more serious. Famous last words. lol

It's not a whining type of noise is it?

Probably best to try and get a video of the noise so someone can hopefully diagnose it.

Both Cups I've had have been like that too so I'm guessing it's meant to be like that.

Looks stunning that mate. Not to sure on the exhaust but it's not standard because it looks like stainless steel? don't think it's a k-tec stealth though because my k-tec stealth back box is shiny. Maybe it's a custom jobby?

Yeah your's will have the twisted dogbone mount, it's the actually rubber mounts that sit inside the dogbone that you replace though. Upper engine mount is on the drivers side and the upper gearbox mount is under the battery. Beware though uprating these mounts will increase cabin rattles lol...

Never realised BTB did an exhaust for the 172. Never seen or heard of them for sale etc.

Yeah I think the problem is down to the solenoid, it's been sticking for months but just got alot worse recently, hitting the solenoid would get it working again but the past few weeks it won't work. It's due to have a new starter at the end of the month but I was just hoping to find a...

Where abouts is it located and which is the best way to gain access to it? I'm going to give it a clean up and see if it helps any with my sticking starter problem.
