Yeah, I was reading something about that. Something to do with it'd be able to cope with colder temperatures isn't it? It can go as low as -23c without freezing, so I've read.
I've driven a VTR and a VTS and had real problems with the pedals (size 10s lol). Alot of people have problems but they also say given time you do get use to it.
Providing the VTS isn't knackered or shows signs of abuse I would. Just be wary though unless you know the person? Also make sure you can deal with the close pedals.
Yeah I agree, doubt there will be any advantages other than it's alot cheaper. Can't remember if it was a 4L or a 5L bottle but it was Mobil 1 for £22 the last time I checked.
Thanks for the offer mate but I was planning on dropping the oil in my car tomorrow as I won't have much time to do it anytime else due to the lack of light during the winter months.
I've read a few threads where people do use this grade of oil and was just wondering if there was any major draw backs to using it then maybe the engine burning it off a little quicker than the 5w40 grade. I can get it from Costco fairly cheaply, cheaper than the 5w40 grade.
Also is there...
Tried contacting the previous owner about it but had no reply from him. I did buy the car from the Leeds area so my initial thought was it'd been mapped at RSTuning, tried contacting them but they don't store details of registrations, so they couldn't tell me if the car had been mapped there.
Mine gets dirtier than that after two days :rasp: lol
Looking nice and clean Mike and where have you been just recently? Maybe I'm just being blind but I haven't noticed you posting on the forum alot over the past couple of weeks.
I posted a thread a while ago asking if anyone could identify the possible map on my car and I still haven't found out.
Basically it has a raised limiter of around 7800 and also the cold limiter is non-existent, so theoretically if I wanted to I could start the engine then bounce it off the...
I pay quite alot considering my age on my Cup due to living under a Manchester postcode. Most of Manchester is in the worst postcode group and the best you're going to get in Manchester is the 2nd worst group. Takes the piss really as my area isn't bad.
Really need to have a run around there sometime, I've heard quite a few members talking about the Evo Triangle now. Looks like a good run from your videos Chris.
Traveling along the A57 I think it is through Irlam and Cadishead and I came across a RB 182. Had abit of blast with it running through in to Warrington. Didn't notice any CS stickers. Anyone on here?
Isn't a Laguna splitter? or might be a 307 Splitter. Rich (LiquidForce) did tell me when he was around this neck of the woods a while ago but I can't remember what he said.
I'm going to have put myself down as a maybe as something has come up and I'm not to sure if I'll make it or not. If I do chances are I'll be late. Are you actually going in to the pub? Just so I know where you all are.
Meh! I've M.O.T'd worse :rasp: lol
That is really shocking though, you'd have thought the owner would of noticed his/her stopping distances had started to increase.
