Mine doesn't do that just flickers at times etc. does my head in coz I'm just waiting for the alternator to die fully. But the other part of me wonders if its just faulty wiring coz its been 2 weeks now...

Thanks for all the replies guys! The cars still the same,lights on and off all the time and flickers still. I'm I right in saying while I'm driving it I'm just slowly draining the battery? it's been 2 weeks now and it still starts...

I'm asking a question simply because I need abit of assistance and advice to help me, that's all. Sometime people post up purely to take the pi$$...

​Did you have to remove the fogs to fit the lamin x? Or did you just neatly cut them out?

I haven't tried resetting it,but I will now. Is this where u hold the button on the stalk in whilst turning ignition on..?

Hey, Iv got a 2003 172 and since iv owned the car (about a year now) the MPG only stays at 33.3. Iv driven it hard for long periods of time and also cruised at 40mph for ages at low revs but it won't change lol! any ideas..? thanks, David

Did your battery and alternator seem to be working ok though? My thoughts are if the voltage readings are ok, which they are then the battery and alternator can't be faulty..?

​Just had a local garage check the battery and Iv been told its fine. Iv had a volt meter across the battery terminals and the alternators pulling 13.5v when the engines running, which Iv read is correct. Cars running fine so that rules out a coilpack doesn't it? Any other ideas??

Sorry I should have been abit clearer. What I mean is I'm after some harder springs so that the car doesn't move as much when I go over bumps etc. I'm assuming its stiffer springs I'd need for that as appose to dampers?

Hey, Iv currently got FK Highsports on my 172. I find them abit bouncy and wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction for some really stiff springs that I could use with the FK strut. Maybe a daft question but can any brand springs be added or must they be FK? Surely there all the...
