    Painting 2.0 16V badge

You need to take the door strips off to then pop them off from the rear otherwise you may snap them. If you open the door you'll see a blanking cap remove that and then you'll see a tab which needs to be pressed in (screw driver helps) while at the same time pulling the door strip towards the...

    Stripes

No problem with them on the ST it's when you see them on some thing as powerful as a 1.1 12V just makes me think it's a sales gimmick

    My Clio Campus

Stepping away from the "norm" just appears to upset the "norm" and the self righteous........... which makes it well worth being different :p watch the abuse from this (did it cause I love to read abusive comments) had no intension of leaving them like this but..... well we'll see.

    Stripes

Some deserve the stripes and have the racing credentials to back them up, it's just they appear to be popping up everywhere on cars that a 17 year old would refuse to have.

    Stripes

Is it me or is every manufacturer trying to jump on the add stripes to sell their cheap cars as something they aren't ie the suzuki swift, and worse one still the fiat panda. Some cars you can get away with the more familiar clio in racing blue with white stripes but only in racing blue seen a...

    182 Fuelrail Block

This is the third time this has come loose, now I know they are held in by two bolts. Does anyone else have this problem or has renault missed something out when they replaced the old bolts with new ones. Should there be some sort of washer on them or should they be loctited in with thread lock...

A Splash of Grey in a Black World

Standard lights appear to have been nicked by some scrote, going to get some of those Euro ones from russ at gasperformance in a fe months.

A Splash of Grey in a Black World

They are not a permanent fixture to be honest and they won't be to everyones liking. As alot of people on here seem to take great offence when you move away from standard. Just thought while it's off the road I'd have a play and see how many people get their backs up. :p

A Splash of Grey in a Black World

Just taken them out to put back to standard-ish. Just thought I'd have a play. As I was going to paint them Black so it made polishing the car easier around the Fogs and they din't get them white tell tale marks left behind.

A Splash of Grey in a Black World

While the car is off the road and having given it its first clean up and being put back to standard. I had a spare set of Fog Light surrounds I got off e-bay and decided to add some colour.......... Standard -ish A touch of grey In the Sun So do you think they will catch...

    Excess Weight removal

A shot from earlier on in the year....... Just putting back to standard while it sits there in the garage for a while, with the exception of the rear lights as standard ones have gone walkabout. Still have to put side strips back on though.

    My Clio Campus

It's your car do what you want however................. too much bling on the rear imo. Some people just like to **** off cars that break away from being standard. When a simple "don't like" or "not my cup of tea" would do. Slagging off someones car like that is a personal attack on the owner!

    Excess Weight removal

Yes they do been humming and harring for a while so gonna get some in a couple of months before it's (we're) back on the road. Blummin' speed cameras :(

    Excess Weight removal

was going to put original lights back on but i think some scrote has half inched them when the garage has been open, never mind only £30 on ebay. intend to get some of them Euro style ones that russ at gasperformance has in a couple of months think they should have been the standard ones on RS...

    Excess Weight removal

Decided to remove some excess weight to gain a few more gee gees. Ok maybe not just decided to strip it down while it's off the road (or rather I'm off the road) and give it a damn good cleaning. Removed about two handfuls of dirt and stones from behind the wheel arches and inbetween the...

    182 door mirror

There is nothing special about them just the same as any other M2 ph2 clio with the obvious additions of colour coded cover and electric. Secured by three screws and the connection plug for electric ones.

Don't think the 172 came with auto wipers until the 182 came out the sensor is all part of your rear view mirror assembly. Does it have that thin square in the bottom middle of the screen if not then your windscreen has been replaced at some point.

    How to paint calipers

What colour you painting them as if you use hammerite you be touching them up all the time to keep them looking fresh unless you're using black. Get some proper caliper paint as it is heat resistant enough for the job unlike hammerite which should only be used upto 80 degrees (on the tin) and...

    Painting Brake Cailpers

Get the proper caliper paint as it will cope with the heat better and you won't be continually re-touching the brakes up to freshen the colour. Hammerite use up to 80 degrees C. If you get the proper stuff you can then touch up your engine if you get bored. visit www.larkspeed.com or do a...
