I run 4300 Osram CBI in the R53, I have found they provide the most light and are the whitest of 4300k and rival 5000k but they are 80 quid for the pair.
Getting the cheque through in a few days. Final figures:
Repair cost £13k
Insurance settlement £12.6k
Lease settlement 10.9k
New civic ordered and it works out cheaper by £90 per month.
They had the figures a while ago but being out of the country they have trouble with establishing contact.
Just need to get it settled and order a new civic as its replacement.
I wasn't there but my dad says he was going around 30mph outside Malmsbury Waitrose when a Fabia pulled out. It's all the crumple zone absorbing the energy but I'm guessing write off due to parts lead time, hire car and both airbags being deployed.
I'm pushing for a write off as this is leased...
Both airbags deployed but chassis leg seems to have avoided damage.
If it's written off need a replacement ASAP. Thinking of leasing a new Nissan Juke dci, Yeti Elegance or Focus.
They are based on the same platform but the i40 is designed in Germany for Europe and the Sonanta in the US. The sonata has the more powerful engines too.
Having to sell it under the Hyundai brand and dealers definitely won't help the image.
The XF isn't really the same segment as this though, is it? I think the Sonata is the same segment and that's cheaper and also much nicer that the old Sonata but not available in RHD form. I wonder if the...
It's bigger than a 3er but cheaper than the equivalent 5er and of pretty much the same quality with an equipment list that's long.
As as ben said though it won't sell that well in Europe, maybe the pricing will help in Aus and NZ.
I need to acquire a new coating for the detail next month but unsure which is is better as I've been away from this scene for a while now. I can get Cquartz in Korea (not finest) and Gyeon back in HK next month. What's the differences between them and advantages of each?
the car does around...
The genesis is returning to UK and Aus in RHD form. Do you think it'll sell in these markets against competitors from the same segment? It'll be priced around £40k.

I have driven the KDM Genesis and I think its a very good car. Shame it doesn't have a Diesel...
I'm not sure if I ever said they didn't work well in the 182 because I only had a 200 running bi xenon projectors. The bulbs had good output and was mainly white. I would recommend them but a smooth projector lens brings out the best in them.
The car was keyed last week in Seoul and thus insurance is paying to respray it. They pretty much went around the whole car and BMW have quoted $10k to do the work which insurance have agreed to.
It it also has front and rear facing camera fitted with motion sensors and auto record in the...
Don't be jealous, Seoul is a pay cut and savings have dwindled due to all the food and clothes (also women is expensive).
Im sure the PGCE will be worth it when you are earning $$$ around the world.
The he suspension is too low for my liking. Trouble is parts are expensive, I can save $400...
You did live in the land of Hyundai though. Lol The worst is there only like 10 places outside of Seoul and Busan that would touch it hence the lack of imports. I'm still trying to find the ferry, will have to put union jacks all over it so the japs don't think I'm korean and start hating. Lol...
Not quite a direct replacement but it is the next hot hatch I bought after I sold the 200 in 2012. I would have had another 200 but the costs were prohibitive. Here it is, a 2005 MCSa and ine of the first MCS imported into ROK. It has 108k km which is very high for its age. MINI's are still...
