Get a universal solenoid kit off ebay. Ul find a strong enough one for under 20 quid. Ballache wiring it up the inside of the tailgate though, oh and ul have to refit the lock catch on the tailgate side to upside down as these solenoids pull instead of pushing. Ul see what a mean when u come to...

It was very hot. Hopefully got a crap one and the new one is better. Glad its sorted. Nothing more annoying than waiting for the last coat to dry when theres a mistake ha. Looks good what youve done so far. Laquer is a nightmare to blend
Hey man i have that mouse too, it blew up on me after 30 mins of use doing my front bumper. Got a new replacement with a warning not to push it roo hard. How that laquer sorted out?
don't heat it up first, when baking the paint its done at the end not before, the paint could crack and dry funny and stay soft underneath as the solvent hasn't had time to evaporate before the outside cures. if the laquer is white your gonna need to throw a coat of base coat over the top...
did you start with plastic primer, base coat and then lacquer??? primer is very important and the wrong type can cause reactions, can't really tell much from that photo but you may have put it on too thick too quickly, you need to dust coat it lightly and wait 10 mins for it to be almost touch...

so I snapped my map sensor off while changing my inlet to the carbon dipped one i got from here last week,
got another exact same model but the car revs at 5000rpm constantly when its turned on, all leads and bolts are in as normal, have also tried undoing the battery, no luck. any ideas much...
good spot man, i have a replacement bumper and spots that need painting as the bumper thats on is damaged. sorting s carbon wrap bonnet first though, tried it the other night and a its wayyyyyyyy bad job, full off bubbles, tried....failed...gona have to pay up now for a pro job :weary:
