i can't at the min my phones dead and chargers at work. the only image i can get you is of mine though without this milling is that any good?
yeah i thought maybe thick rags or some sort of towel
he didn't seem that arsed that I've paid top dollar for brand spankers, said he can 'maybe' put some paper in to help it out, 'no thanks mate ill go elsewhere
thanks. need this doing, two on each, i don't mind paying some postage as long as somebody can guarantee they will look after them and not scuff them up,
i really need someone to help me out here with this.
I've been quoted £100 to knock back 5mm off the mounting points, plus they say the calipers will get marked as they will have to be clamped.
I've bought them new so i don't want them scratched or marked. if i did then id have gone for used...
im almost ready to fit my brembo 4pots, i have team dynamics pro race 3's
Offset is 35, it should be 43 on my cup
I also have 10mm spacers, so i only have 2mm extra width
Dont want the calipers to catch and i dont want to be in the situation where its been fitted then have to put originals...
Hey thanks, i think ill skip the head swap then. Im not looking to do more than 300bhp due to maintenance and runningproblems , So would putting the megane internals in the bottom end be ok to run high boost? instead off the forged ones as they are almost £1000. Im due belts in afew months so...
The internals all fit, im told the pistons and rods are the same size. just thought itd be easier to get a 225 top end, rebuild it while the car is still being used then swap it over.
thoughts and experience on this please. Talking with @windle about the least complicated d.i.y turbo job for my daily used cup. Aiming for the 270bhp mark. Hes put the whole 225 engine in his, and seems to think if the head fits onto my bottom half, then as long as we do the pistons, rods ect...

Anybody know if theses are any good for quality?
188 euros which is £129 quid for both boot and bonnet
Seems a good price to me
Try the centre hanger as well, mine bangs all the time, its very low though, so even though my back box doesnt move there is still a lil bit of play in the middle part
Oh i get it, so you mean the ammount of air pushed in to the inlet will be similar ammount even withe rs2 on there? I thought it may help push more and maybe get it upto the 250bhp mark running the same psi.
Hey @s.mac i wont be tracking this incase of binning it, just hard street use really. The car was properly set up as far as im aware, @stevie1 had this for 5 years before me so only he really knows. Ill try the clicks youve suggested and see, i made them 3 or 4 harder and lost the back end...
@mikecup172 yeah i got a cup model, i have 15s so your turinis will sit fuller in there anyway, i seem to be sticking to the ground fairly well still so i wont go any lower now. Think im 50 or 60 down. How does yours handle?
@mikecup172 how its yours set up?
@stevie1 ive bust my phone and didnt have your number anymore. Do you know anywhere that sells the rear kit you mean? Found a reciept saying you putva stiffening kit on?
It seems thats the comprimise, i really know f**k all on how this set up work but im sure its set for track but i done plan to ise it that way incase i bin it. Rather take her up santa pod, much safer.
so i have some gaz fully adjustables, they have a knob at the bottom of the rear ones for stiffness and also the two rings to adjust ride height, now cos im on 15s it looks too high at the back for my taste, i like the slammed look of most of the tyre hidden away, i have plenty of clearane to do...
