Yea done the unplugging thing on the originals and it's was running the same when I took out number 3 (I think).
I can't really do it again yet as it only missed slightly earlier when using partial throttle.
Yea I replace them all, but with a second hand set (they ran fine with no issues before hand).
At the same time I also replaced the plugs as I know they get all shitty when it's missing.
Right this started about 3 weeks ago. I was on the way to work one day and the eml light started flashing, so took it steady the rest of the way. When the eml flashed it would start to missing like mad.
When I got to work I got it on the diagnosis machine and it came up with a injector fault...
Best advise I can give is don't do it yourself unless your half about at spraying. Most places charge 100ish to paint a bumper, so by the time you've bought the primer, paint and lacquer (assuming you already have various grades of sandpaper) you won't be saving yourself much.
I read a thread on clio trophy forum and a guy on there claimed he gained a few bhp and more torque.
Surely there must be a few bhp and torque to gain from doing it, all I hear on here is how restrictive the standard inlet is.
This.
If your planning on not telling your insurance company your a complete idiot.
Just do what everyone else has to do and wait till you can afford the insurance on something faster.
