Thanks, it needs plenty of work but I enjoy a project.
I've now changed the Uch and ecu, but I have still got the original problem. I presume it means I have an electrical fault somewhere, I'll have to wait to sort this out.
Got some new springs for the rear on the way aswell as Dan said mine...
Picked the car up from sjm lastnight and Dan's done a brilliant job fair play.
Also gave me a list if things that need doing to the car.
Bought an ecu and uch lastnight, hopefully I'll have time to fit them next weekend and that's some more ticked of the growing list.
This is now with dan at sjm, looking forward to getting it back after he's worked his magic.
Also ordered some new spark plugs to hopefully get rid of the slight misfire and the scooby sound.
If I fix mine I'll happily come sort yours aswell.
I also have the stalling thing going on. I was advised to unplug the lamba sensor to see if it cures it and it did.
Thought I would start a thread for the new addition, mainly so I can look back and see what I've done to it over time.
Now most of you have seen this around before, it was for sale for a while on here.
Anyway here she is when I bought it
I know it's been through a few peoples...
The last 2-3mins I tried it. The only other time I tried it was after an 80mile round trip the day I bought it.
My 182 gets onto the warm map after about 10mins of driving in this weather.
It's around 6.5ish it limits, the journey I do takes about 20mins but it gets to halfway about 5mins into it.
I have a 182 and that tends to sit about 2 bars above half so presumed all 1*2's sat there.
Changing the thermostat has done nothing to help the matter :(
As the title says my car ain't getting up to temperature. Basically it gets to dead on half then it stays here which is obviously preventing me from getting on the 'warm' map.
I replaced the thermostat yesterday and the seal had a hole in it so presumed that was the problem.
Any ideas what...
Was me again :) I went to flash but noticed you to late.
Yea I had the number plate in the window it was loose as hell so took it off. Put some decent double sided tape on it now :)
Yea I did ask one of the lads that worked there who's it was but they didn't know.
Ralph that's the one, it's got a few things done to it, pretty quick in all fairness.
