I made a mount with an aluminium bar that clamped to the passenger headrest struts and so sat in the middle of the front seats, got a good view from there.
Pretty simple, a length of square aluminium tubing, 2 u bolts with butterfly bolts to clamp to the headrest and then used an M10 bolt on...
To fit this then do i just leave the existing 90degree hose that's coming out there - it seems to have another outlet (at the top near the water bottle in the 1st pic) I presume that needs to stay - what is this for as some @imprezaworks doesnt seem to have this on his blue silicon hose?
Also...
Hi Dan, is that all I need to change from a standard air box and filter I have? Do you have links to the parts you got please? It looks pretty cool and I bet it sounds great. Thanks, Justin
Is the lower gearbox mount the dogbone? If not do you have a link to the Febi lower gearbox mount on ebay please? I have a polybushed dog bone, and a polybush top engine mount insert, sounds like i just need a new gearbox top mount?
Thanks.
Thanks, very helpful.
I was at some point going to get the PMS strut brace on the front, the Whiteline ARB is the rear - is that right?
So I could change the ARB mounts and still look at a Whiteline ARB later or they need to be done together? Are the mounts pretty easy to swap out?
Yeah, I...
Hey,
I have a NON cup pack 182 which I have been changing/upgrading bits on to stiffen it up - been using for the occasional track day.
I'm not too bothered about the comfort of the ride being compromised, the things I have done have made a great improvement to it and am happy to take that with...
Bodged it on Sunday with a couple of crocodile clips and insulation tape for the last 2 days, even lasted over the speed bumps at work LOL
So today got a new crimp ring connector, stripped back the cable and crimped it in, luckily the nut came off ok, probably because I soaked it in WD40 on...
Thanks, how do i get the black side cover off the alternator? Just it literally pull off or is it screwed/bolted on? Also I'm struggling to get any room to undo the bolt, its a bit tight down there...
Thanks
Thanks for the reply, you mean if I try to hard I'll break it off or I can damage the alternator by trying?
Do I need to disconnect the battery before I do it?
If j just leave it off how long have j got do you think before I get the replacement terminal?
Thanks
Hi, just started my 182 and the stop and battery lights are on.
Looked under bonnet and I presume this red wire has broken off alternator?
Does it just go where the nut is?
Can I undo nut, strip wire back a bit and tighten it in there?
Thanks
I'd call Wolverhampton, they're not on the forum any more but give a discount if you tell them you're on it.
As i say I paid £150 for all 4 but not sure what the difference between the front and rear prices is.
they arrived in less than 48 hours too
I also just fitted 172 Cup shocks to my NON Cup 182
i think they were about £150 delivered from Wolverhampton Renault
Put them on with Sportline springs - what a difference it all makes
Thanks, putting wider tyres on those rims though doesn't sound like the best idea for track use? Any reason you wouldn't use these for track/road use with 195/50/15s on compared to F1s or something similar?
Hi,
I've got a 182 which has the standard 182 16" alloys.
Tyres are shot and rather than replacing the tyres I'm looking to get a cheap set of 15" as:
a) I'll be tracking it a bit
b) Tyres are a fair bit cheaper
What are my options for different wheels? Do they have to be from a clio? How do I...
So these are the exact right springs? http://www.mk-fahrwerkstechnik.de/Eibach-Sportline-Tieferlegungsfedern-fuer-RENAULT-CLIO-II-BB0-1-2-CB0-1-2-20-16V-Sport-E20-75-001-03-22
I chose the
2.0 16V Sport - 132 Kw
As it's a 2004 182 - that's correct right? Not the 2.0 16V SPORT (CB0M) - 124 KW...
