Where to mount go pro on a trackday?

I made a mount with an aluminium bar that clamped to the passenger headrest struts and so sat in the middle of the front seats, got a good view from there. Pretty simple, a length of square aluminium tubing, 2 u bolts with butterfly bolts to clamp to the headrest and then used an M10 bolt on...

The Fatty's KTEC alternative induction setup that works just as well!

To fit this then do i just leave the existing 90degree hose that's coming out there - it seems to have another outlet (at the top near the water bottle in the 1st pic) I presume that needs to stay - what is this for as some @imprezaworks doesnt seem to have this on his blue silicon hose? Also...

difficult to locate a gear at very high revs

Is the lower gearbox mount the dogbone? If not do you have a link to the Febi lower gearbox mount on ebay please? I have a polybushed dog bone, and a polybush top engine mount insert, sounds like i just need a new gearbox top mount? Thanks.

    Mounts/Polybushing - what's next?

Thanks, very helpful. I was at some point going to get the PMS strut brace on the front, the Whiteline ARB is the rear - is that right? So I could change the ARB mounts and still look at a Whiteline ARB later or they need to be done together? Are the mounts pretty easy to swap out? Yeah, I...

    Mounts/Polybushing - what's next?

Hey, I have a NON cup pack 182 which I have been changing/upgrading bits on to stiffen it up - been using for the occasional track day. I'm not too bothered about the comfort of the ride being compromised, the things I have done have made a great improvement to it and am happy to take that with...

    Stop and battery light on

Bodged it on Sunday with a couple of crocodile clips and insulation tape for the last 2 days, even lasted over the speed bumps at work LOL So today got a new crimp ring connector, stripped back the cable and crimped it in, luckily the nut came off ok, probably because I soaked it in WD40 on...

    Stop and battery light on

Thanks, how do i get the black side cover off the alternator? Just it literally pull off or is it screwed/bolted on? Also I'm struggling to get any room to undo the bolt, its a bit tight down there... Thanks

    Stop and battery light on

Thanks for the reply, you mean if I try to hard I'll break it off or I can damage the alternator by trying? Do I need to disconnect the battery before I do it? If j just leave it off how long have j got do you think before I get the replacement terminal? Thanks

    Stop and battery light on

Hi, just started my 182 and the stop and battery lights are on. Looked under bonnet and I presume this red wire has broken off alternator? Does it just go where the nut is? Can I undo nut, strip wire back a bit and tighten it in there? Thanks

    182 Cup Rear Shocks

I'd call Wolverhampton, they're not on the forum any more but give a discount if you tell them you're on it. As i say I paid £150 for all 4 but not sure what the difference between the front and rear prices is. they arrived in less than 48 hours too

Anyone know what wheels these are?

Thanks, putting wider tyres on those rims though doesn't sound like the best idea for track use? Any reason you wouldn't use these for track/road use with 195/50/15s on compared to F1s or something similar?
  24. edwarj123

Anyone know what wheels these are?

Thanks, keep looking for some F1s or similar then. Thanks for your help
  25. edwarj123

Anyone know what wheels these are?

Aah ok, any idea what width tyres would go on them, I'm looking for a set of 15" wheels for my 182 - these might not be wide enough then?

    What wheels can I use?

Hi, I've got a 182 which has the standard 182 16" alloys. Tyres are shot and rather than replacing the tyres I'm looking to get a cheap set of 15" as: a) I'll be tracking it a bit b) Tyres are a fair bit cheaper What are my options for different wheels? Do they have to be from a clio? How do I...
