This worked for me, but you may want to measure first. Cut the metal part down so only two holes are left, after the first hole, put a 90 bend in it & then attach to the unused bolt with a locknut. I can't remember the size, but if you are going to Halfords for that part pick up a pack of...

You could always go to Halfords & get one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Exhaust-Kit-Car-Adjustable-Bracket-Mount-Hanger-Strap-Band-Clamp-Pipe-/280964832301 & attach it to that unused bolt to hold your exhaust on as a temp measure.

The bolt in question is unused.
