220 software is completely different to the early 200 EDC, 2 ends of the spectrum. What year is the Clio? They have a software upgrade which makes a massive difference to not only Auto but Sport Mode too.
New white Meg had 19" track wheels and Nankang AR-1s fitted. Option on brakes are red Brembo front calipers and red rear when you pick the cup chassis, separate option is bi material discs
We went to local pub in Blyton Friday night, mixed grill and a couple of beers then back to the campsite. Saturday we went to Gainsborough and had Pizza from Domino's ?
Did you go to the Chinese takeaway in Blyton? Its not too shabby, I had that last year. Sod taking BBQs!
Thank you
I was pretty pleased with how it went, a massive improvement on the my old 200 in every way. The Brembo 4 pot conversion was the single most difference I noticed, even with stock R26 pads it enabled me to stay out longer and really push the Clio.
The EDC gearbox is quick and...
I let @Brigsy take my 220 out on the road yesterday evening, I think it's fair to say he's a fan of the EDC box! Let me know when and where you're booking the next trackday ?
Bloody good to see you again mate
Appreciate the comments, both on here and for people coming up to me at the show this weekend. Was nice to put faces to forum names.
With all the upgrades done it really felt like the complete package. I could take it out for a decent length of time and not have to worry about something...
I think as many are in PCP deals they don't tend to venture too far in modding. They're also tricky on the offsets so you really have to get it right, especially with the Brembo 4 pot calipers as the std wheels don't fit they have to be spaced. These are unique, I don't think anyone else will...
Thank you! Be warned (IMO) for some strange reason they'll look not only different in the flesh but not as good up close. When you stand back say 20 ft they have a completely different look about them. Side on and quarter angle is all good ?
Spent the evening working everything out ready for CS18. I took out the PMS 10mm rear shims as the wheels sat just too proud for my liking, then put a 5mm spacer on up front as the original Eibach 16mm spacers were too much. Pretty damn happy with how it sits now, just need to pick up the new...
The only noise I've heard people describe is they sound like your wheel bearings are f@@ked! I wouldn't say they're unbearable though. Mark Abbott uses them on his daily, I can't seem to tag him in.
A bit of an impulse buy! I saw these on photos on the Internet so I called John at R Sport to enquire on price and availability. I then ordered them and picked them up last week, I also ordered new Yokohama ADO8R tyres from Ben Patey and picked them up today in Bracknell. Arrived home and had...
If I'd have missed that run they were heading back over 10 days after, but glad I caught them at the right time as the parts i ordered I wanted before the CS weekender at Blyton. With their involvement with the Clio Cup I imagine they're constantly going over to France picking up parts for the...
