Hi Mike
I was in the same boat as you regarding the dash , doesn't give enough info at a glance , I got fed up of clicking through the pages to see what's doing what , then keep clicking to get back to the gear display , if you have seen on my project thread I went for the XAP X dash , shows...

I've spent silly money to date so £300 on a rad won't hurt lol

It just seems a compromise , it would do the job I guess , but needs faffing about welding lugs on to fix it in place , and brackets for the fans , and then it could be a better...
I gave the car a good clean yesterday , got it up as high as the jack would go so I could get underneath and found a big clodge of mud around the bottom pulley , it would seem it picked it up going through the big puddle above , spoke to a mate of mine who said I made a big cut on that bend , as...

Had a few pics posted on my facebook page from today
Getting it wrong first lap on the go kart track , turned into a bit of a tank slapper that I got...
The alternator belt came off , looks like it picked up some mud going through one of the big puddles on beach road which damaged the belt , it was found snapped on the sump guard , so couldn't carry on , all that work of putting it back together with the standard engine for two bloody stages ...

Its all done ready to collect tomorrow , had a problem of it chucking oil out of the breather at high revs so Fred spoke to them and they dropped the oil down slightly from max on the dip stick which stopped it doing it , before that they had mapped it to 7k and it was making 242hp , they...

Sorry got that wrong then , I guess its all his engines that are dynoed there , anyway he did a very good job dynoing my Golf engine , so I have no problems with him doing this engine.

Spoke to the dyno guy yesterday and I had to modify a flywheel to suit there dyno , the adaptors he has fit onto flywheels for AP competition clutches , so I have machined the standard flywheel and will send it up to them tomorrow , he's hoping to have it started before the weekend
I had to...
The solid lifters will be going in another engine in the new year , will be having an all steel engine built chasing big power to use on the real fast rallies I do
