Hi Does anyone know what rear spoiler is fitted to the 172 Clio cup race car ? Mine cracked when I rolled it and its deeper than the one fitted on my donor shell , the one fitted to the race car looks a lot better cheers Ian

What do you need exactly ? When I get the damaged car back here I'm stripping it and sending the suspension away for a service , haven't touched them since. I bought them so thought I'd better get them done

Yes cage is fine , hasn't been damaged at all , it's just the quarters and roof , but if I'm going to change them I might as well reshell it

Is this to go with the solid lifter and cam kit I sold him , if so it will be interesting to see how it turns out , is it going short stroke / larger bore or staying standard ?

I didn't have a marshall waving mine at me , I found out at the end of a 6th gear straight going into a first gear left , hit the brakes at the optimum braking point and the pedal went to the floor , had to put it into a spin to scrub speed and hope for the best as there was a brook and a field...

I have also had to fit the standard one piece discs on mine after doing a rally in December the wheel bearing collapsed and snapped the disc , I just expect to change bearings more frequently now

The front discs and calipers and standard 172/182 items , rear caliper again are standard items , but the rear disc and hub are separate , the discs are the same size as standard but were made by Alcon , the rear hubs and bearing are from a Laguna and are a bigger diameter than standard 172...

I did Bovington yesterday thinking the Impreza was fixed and it got worse , bloody thing. There is nothing on my car that is on a standard one so doubt anyone has had the same issue , I think something electrical is breaking down , or a loom issue , hope its not a loom !

Thought i'd update where I am with the car , after the last rally in Pembrey the front panel was bent , so was the rad , although not leaking , so have cut the old cross member off and welded a new one I had on a spare shell , bought a new golf alloy rad and modified it to fit same as the last...

I'm doing pembrey next week , but first event in the Impreza , I'm out next in the Clio on Epynt beginning of march , got a new front cross member , rad and bumper that needs fitting after the last pembrey , oops !!

The bearing is from a 1999 Laguna , very easy to source , the discs aren't , do you want to sell your good disc ?

I can't go back to Laguna hubs now as one of my discs broke when the bearings collapsed , unless you know of any discs. If not i'll buy a pair of genuine renault 172 rear discs and use them

I'll be doing the Tour of Epynt in the Clio , then the week after I'm doing West Cork in the WRC

no not yet , I'm using the Clio on a rally in march so won't decide until then
