Was wondering does anyone know a way of backing up a memory card "on the go"
- need a way of copying it onto the iPhone or something that will fit in the camera bag.
I have got myself involved in my local bar/nightclub doing their photos but I use & leave their memory card in the bar as I'm...
I've had this before about a year ago - emissions light came on halfway down the motorway with 2 other passengers onboard.
Car is driving fine and no funny idle, noises, or smells :S
Is this just another one of our wonderful "Renault gremlins" or is there something to watch out for?
Cheers

As above, looking for a printer that's cheap on ink (or toner) not fussed about quality - as long as it's wireless :)
What would you reccomend?

NO. Not what you think lol could see the thread title attracting comedians
With all the bad weather over the weekend, lots of surface water lying about, I think some water has got into the horn as my car sounds like Noddy's!
I have had the Stebel Nautilus compact air horn on mine...
I managed to get a few shots at the tail-end of the N.I. International Airshow 2011
Met up with one new local member on here, finally found a parking spot and got soaked while watching what was left/not cancelled
The light was crap, I was sporting the CS raincoat (mostly to keep the camera dry)...
As discussed in the previous meet thread
We are intending on a run up the Glenshane Pass, starting off from Antrim
Probably meet at the forum, get a few rolling shots of the cars on the M22 or Toome dual carriageway if anyone's handy with a camera.
Stop along the way for some photos, grub...
I'm heading on holidays next week and I'm looking at getting a new lens to take along and have a play with while I'm away
At the moment I'm looking at a Sigma 30mm f1.4 and a Nikon 10.5mm f2.8 fisheye - torn between the two as they are both cracking lenses!
What do you all normally take with...
The drivers-side switch on the door won't operate the passenger window but the passenger switch is fine, and the drivers window switch is fine.
Comes back on randomly after you drive it for a while.
Sometimes even when you press the passenger switch when the driver one fails, it lets you...
The annual Portrush Airshow is comming up soon and I haven't had the chance to get us out for a meet yet
Well I'm not missing the Airshow for a 3rd year running - I'm even going up for both days with the camera!
"Who knows..... the Clio's will cath the Red Arrows in the twisties lol"...
Was away for the weekend and somehow a bottle of Snow-foam decided to leak from a high shelf and over a few things in the shed. A new pollen filter being one of them
The snowfoam took some of the colour out of the box the filter was in and run it through the filter but I rinsed most...
I have the "slightly widened" one someone sold on here a while back.
So when the work was done the metal band around the TB holding the plastic cover was removed.
Can anyone advise what I can put the plastic cover back on with?
Cheers!
As title, what's best at a reasonable price?
My longest lens at the moment is a Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 APO DG but sometimes it isn't long enough :(
I know you loose 1 or 2 stops with a teleconverter fitted but they are cheaper than the "superzoom" lenses aren't they?
Tell, or even better -...

Our internet at home was workin perfectly well all day yesterday, then all of a sudden the hub lost power - no lights or sign of life.
Tried everything, plugged it in somewhere else in the house, checked fuse even tried a different power adapter.
Rang TT and they are sending out a new hub...
Noticed today when i was changing lenses over, my 2.8 24-70mm sounds as if it has a small screw or something rolling around inside it :(
OH CRAP i thought but its working perfectly.

I already have a few lenses for the D90, just need to know do I need a "macro lens" to get the close-up shots I need.
A best mate wants me to get a few good shots of an engagement ring so I said I'll give it a go
I tried with the 50mm f1.8 but still felt I was too far away from the ring before...
What does everyone use to make their photo discs?
CD or DVD-R/DVD+R?
Do you use any fancy software to run them as a slideshow in a dvd player/pc or just slap them on as data?
Cheers

Ok I've started doing up some photos of birthday parties and few things like that
Come home with about 100ish shots, about 60 of them I would consider as best for prints/portfolio.
What sort of money do you guys ask for doing little jobs like this - I haven't a clue where to start making an...
Anyone ever get a higher renewal price than last year's premium?
Mine has jumped up about £50 this year (still the cheapest quote I have from running a few online)
Just wondered is this normal as previous years the premium dropped quite a bit.
Cheers

PS I've been with Greenlight for...
Has anyone upgraded their bulbs to get a better/longer/brighter "coverage" from their full beam? :)
Mine seems like it could be better, have Osram H1 bulbs in it from last year.

Need some advice on how to "speed up & improve" my processing...
Some projects seem to take forever to look through everything, then go over each individual photo and play with levels, WB, crop etc. etc.
I know not every photo will work with exactly the same corrections but there must be a...
I think I may have clipped my exhaust on a ramp the at the start of the week :o thought nothing of it.
Yesterday on the way home from a meet the exhaust decides to drop and start roaring a bit louder than normal. I must admit it sounds awesome
The difference is most noticeable at idle &...
