I assume you have bunged the hole on the inlet?

High idle is usually an air leak isn't it? I'd check all the connections for the acoustic valve, etc.

The only other thing we discovered, is that the kit was of course purchased for a 182, but I have a 172, and hence, the breather plate on top of the engine is different. I've got a few options - message the manufacturer and see if he can whip up/ sell me a 172 breather plate, use the 182...

So does this mean that a stripped out track car, which has had the airbags removed, will now no longer pass? That kinda sucks!

No, that's part of the problem. No lights after removing stuff, then had an accident (electrically), and now airbag and serv lights are on.

Tried this with mine, but it couldn't find anything without the airbag ECU

Not sure whether you can take off the plastic trim inside the boot to get into the bumper from there?

CSF is the definite I hope. Otherwise I want to get a couple more in over the year. All depends on finances. Be great to see the car though at some point.
