I'd just spend the money on tyres, brakes, suspension etc. with a 1.4. May take an age to get up to speed but if you can stay up there around corners then it doesn't matter. Although a ph2 rear bumper and lights would look awesome.
'20 years experienced Renault master mechanics' are a total joke in my experience. I'd go to a specialist and get the timing checked, steer well clear of main dealers.
Pretty sure you have to drop the subframe. Shouldn't be too difficult if you're good with spanners, just ball ache access. I've had quotes around £350 for the job. Parts are only £60-100
Looks seriously good mate. Love the retrimm, you should get the end of the handbrake done too. What are you using to keep the boot mat level? Have you still got the rear seats in and down?
That would be a solution, but it just wouldn't be practical. I would forget it from time to time or find myself wanting to use downstairs speakers and realise I've left it upstairs.
Thats a good shout actually, rather not carry them both around/keep them charged though.

I am really into my music gear and as such have a few sets of speakers and headphones around the house in various rooms. I also work in music retail and have to do Speaker demos as part of my job.
So I'd either have to have a handful of adaptors around the house and in each pair of jeans or...
