Looks Great on the new wheels. Can't remember, have you done anything with the brakes yet? A big break set up and sexy callipers would look ace under the front wheels.
I actually sold a MacBook a few weeks ago on gumtree within a couple of hours. Guy drove down, checked it out and dealt with cash. That was my ideal situation with this but it seems it's too close to Christmas.
Update. They have gone completely quiet since I asked them to ring me so most definitely a scam. Didn't give them any details.
Thanks guys and keep an eye out if you're using Gumtree.
I haven't handed over details yet. Gave them my number 15 mins ago and have not had anything. Obviously I would insist funds had cleared first before it was sent. I first received a message on Friday. I replied on Saturday then got a reply today asking if I still had it. The ad has been up for 5...
Does seem this would be a decent route. It just screamed scam to see too but I guess if they can't do anything with the info then it's worth the punt. They are based in London and the ad was on gumtree in Manchester and Sheffield.
Exactly what I thought. Reading online it seems Force was right in saying all they could do is set up a direct debit which I wouldn't have authorised so the bank would have to return it to me.
I get that. Just the whole last email seems a bit odd. I've just asked where she is based as I would prefer cash on collection/delivery.
If no harm can be done with me giving her the info then I would wait for it to appear in my bank and then happily post.
I'm selling a MacBook on gumtree. Had an email come through for it and I thought all was well till I received the last message. Seems odd to me.
Basically what do you guys think and could any damage be done if I handed over the reqeuested info if Kate Williams isn't legit.
Thanks.
I've got a mk3 facelift non sport. Fitted coilovers a couple of years ago. I was 21 and Admiral charged me £8 for the suspension changes. I have never found mods to be an issue, just check it out.
I just went for the 256Gb. Did plan on getting the 512Gb but I wasn't expecting such a price jump from the previous generation. I have a 1TB external drive so I can just use that for films/photos. All my music is Spotify and obviously word etc. uses f**k all. If the 1TB internal is disk not...
I've never had any confirmation requests from Apple. Bought 3 on student discount now. Second was for my housemate, we gave my email when they asked but that can be changed/ doesn't matter for warranty and we paid on his card. (I sold one last week with 2 year warranty and the buyer said he...
I'm a student myself. You just need to get them to log into their 'uni days' account. If you scroll down to the bottom of the apple website page there is a link saying buy for university. That will take you to the educational store.
I'm going to head to Meadowhall when the traffic dies down.
I found out recently that you can buy apple care at any point in the first 12 months. If i started it on the 11th month, would i get three years from that date effectively having a 4yr (ish) warranty?
Is it that fan that's not working or the heater. Deferent fault but my fan started squeaking really badly and was about to die. Renault changed it under warranty but they said it can be common. May need a new fan motor.
