Tbh you can get the whole regulator and motor from eBay for about £20 if you don't want to faff. A new cable is £10 and it's a c*nt of a job!
The damp footwells will most likely be blocked scuttle drains either side of your wipers.
Check all your fuses on the passenger side. Open the passenger door and they are where the door was covering the dash. If all good I'd whip the door card off and get a multimeter on the motor connector, if it's got power it will be a dead motor. Also worth checking the steel cables around the...
The Side light will probably be a loose wire. Headlight usually get hazy over time, you can get restoration kits to polish them back to clear.
The window will most likely be a snapped cable in the regulator, motor or possibly fuse. Does it make a noise but not move?
The XL ones are not too bad. It's just a slight sway you notice on turn in when they are fresh on. Becomes normal after a few drives. The grip is great, but they do wear rather quick.
Around £100 mark depending on what ancillaries you'd want. Is it worth it depends on if you've got the time and ability to swap it. If you'd have to pay someone then as above just get a new car.
Why not just stick another D7F in? straight swap and should you need ancillaries, you've already got them. I may have one from a 2012 Clio for sale. It's done 105k, just had a fresh head gasket and belts.
Tis the magic of plastidip, if you take your time and do 4-5 decent coats then it will just cut itself around and slightly sharp edges. i.e. badges. Just roughly mask, spray, peel it where you don't want it. It's great stuff for £13 a can.
I've used it for badges and bits of exterior trim. Piece of p*ss to use, look really good and last very well. I did my lower front lip on the car in my profile pic (prime stone chip area and I think after 18 months and about 25k miles there was 2 maybe 3 little chips out of it. Then you can just...
I'd be worried about fixing that. Not sure how well it would take another hit in future, especially with the little one in the back.
Definitely break it though if it's modded
The 54/60 is the bolt spacing on the shock.
If you use lowering spring such as eibach or H&R you won't need to change shocks, standard will be fine. Although if they are worn changing refreshing them, will make a big difference.
Bit of a shot in the dark but I know better than to underestimate cs.
My mk3 2012 1.2 has been in a bit of a bump so I have been given a mk2 1.2 as a gap car. So obviously it doesn't work.. so AA have come out and long and short it needs an alternator.
I am wondering if the alternator from my...
Definitely a t5 but I can't see how it can wedge in. These have the two long terminals like an led and go through the clip then wrap round the bottom. So I need it without the wedge, just exposed prongs
Here is is partially pulled out. I'll pop to ecp with this.
