Never seen a Trophy on silver wheels, I wonder if anyone's done it...

Stunning - the car looks in fantastic order and I really like the pictures too.

Keep an eye on the South Central meets section as I plan to organise a driving meet in a few weeks, taking in the good driving roads around Wantage, Newbury, Lambourn etc.

That's more of a tool rather than a product, though.

I opted for the Sabelt RenaultSport offering and it's delivered a huge improvement to the driving experience - I feel so much more 'connected' to what's going on at the wheels. My only gripe would be the aesthetics - Sabelt blue is not a good match for Trophy red/pink.

Myldan Auto Design sell some, but they've had a few problems with the design, not sure it's been fully resolved as yet...

How long has it been off the car for, and did you replace it with anything?

In my experience, while they improve the ride at low speeds, if you're after a drop you'll do well to get more than a millimetre or two compared to the standard Trophy springs, aesthetically the difference is negligible, even to a trained eye.

A pain to get used to but a bonus once you're there, no? You can change gear with the left hand, steer & indicate with the right. Personally it's always made more sense to me on manual RHD cars.

If your concerns that your Renaultsport Clio is under-powered are based on the fact that it feels slow compared to your old turbo Impreza, and that when you used to go up against other Clios you couldn't shake them, maybe your car is behaving perfectly normally and you just need to adjust to...

Sam, your behaviour is simply unacceptable! You drive a Trophy FFS, you must conform, it must remain standard or you face dire consequences. Who the hell do you think you are carrying out modifications at the top of the CS layer cake? It's a Trophy, not a cheap, French hot-hatch. Get with the...
