For £2k it's pretty unlikely. Gives the OP an opportunity to source and re-fit some, or try something a little different. Whichever route he chooses good luck to him!
A few more updates were added to #455 recently, courtesy of Mike Woodford @ S&MWM - thanks, as always.
A couple of months ago I picked up a new set of wheels and although it took me quite a few hours and a lot of effort to hand-polish off the printed blue logos I eventually succeeded. I also...
Here's a crappy iPhone pic of mine on the drive home from having Sportlines replaced with Cooksports, 20mm spacers fitted up front, and 2118s wearing AD08Rs fitted.
It'll need time to settle then I'll take it out on my favourite loop to judge the changes.
May look a bit low at the rear but...
A few months down the line, what are people's thoughts on citypowdercoating?
They're still offering their almost unbelievable price of £20 per wheel, and while you get what you pay for I'm finding this offer difficult to ignore.
This is a great car, and one I feel I 'know' given the amount you've put into recording it's progress, I like it a lot, however, the silver wheels don't work for me. The Turinis are great (of course ;)) but if I had some spare cash I'd be tempted to get them powder-coated red to match the...
OP - if you register on here it opens up opportunities for potential discounts at places like Demon Tweeks, so get it done, and continue your research!
Could have trimmed the grass a little - looks a bit odd like that. Would like to see it on flat ground but think it looks smart.
Ruined a Trophy? It's only a car, who gives a f**k?!
I appreciate what you're saying but BT Sport is swaying me, but the main consideration is the £130 fee I'd have to pay if I went with Sky.
I figure I'll go with BT and if it's not up to scratch then I can switch after 12 months.
We don't have broadband at home, nor do we have a fixed line at all, although there must have been one there once. We do have Sky but only for TV.
I'm thinking about getting BT's most basic broadband package - 10GB per month for £10 (+ £15.45 line rental) - plus £40 Sainsbury's gift card & BT...
Having seen this at Combe this weekend I can vouch for how immaculate it is, it's a testament to your efforts, Lawro, great work!
However, do you have any plans for the centre caps, as for me they attract unnecessary attention and stand out like a sore thumb.
The hole under the wing mirror causes a whistling, doesn't it? It's where the temperature gauge is on the passenger side, but on the driver's side it's just en empty hole. Not sure why it would have just started for you now, though, maybe it's always been there but you've only just started to...
This annoys the hell out of me, and I blame this forum for the fact that I now start every sentence I speak with the word, "so".
As for the best Clio ever, it's too subjective and all you'll get is people stating opinions. If that's what you want then I'm going to say a 1.2 Billabong.
The best thing to do is go to each company's website and use their signal-checker tool to ensure they have good coverage in the area where you spend the most time / need your phone most.
If it's all much of a muchness then check out Vodafone as their 4G service is being rolled out across the UK...
Bought mine a month or so ago and can't wait to get them on the car, I've heard positive reviews but it's such a subjective thing.
I'm sure if you do go for them you won't be disappointed, and the same will be true of any decent competitor.
