As Gally says, a Trophy is worth more in parts than it is as a whole, that's simple economics.
As for protecting them like an endangered species, you'll find they already are. A small percentage of these cars have considerably low mileage and are cherished by their owners with no expense...
500 were made and 130 were sent out to Europe. Really? I know 50 went to the Swiss market, but that was an additional 50. First time I've ever heard of a hundred UK cars going to the continent, or further.
What a massive douchebag.
Welcome to Clio ownership, it's a completely different proposition to an Evo, but just as enjoyable in many ways. Have fun and see you at a few meets later in the year perhaps.
A while ago I filled in an online form and now I get bombarded with offers from Longbridge Mill. I gave a fake DOB and they've just sent me a nice voucher for a free bottle of Champagne to celebrate my 'birthday', so I'll be along to this to pick that up. Reckon they'll let me take it away...

Bruntingthorpe must have been a pretty special day. What percentage of the cars were driven there vs trailered? Not many I'd imagine, but then some of these supercar drivers do like to enjoy putting miles on their cars.
Daniel - if you are taking something other than a standard shaped & sized car then let me know ASAP cos I'll need to amend the booking to make sure you can get on the ferry.
Fancyplates - members get a discount and there's a guide on how to order the right size. Do a little search and you should find it, otherwise PM me and I'll send you the link.
