    Sport Xenon on Non Sport...

Only needs one plugged in, did it deffo work on the 172? Could be a faulty ignitor, ballast or bulb, moreso if it got knocked a bit before being fitted to yours.

Waved goodbye to the cup Today.. And as some of you may have noticed, I got the Inferno running, right before the lads turned up to collect the shell, won't be the last CS sees of the little Cup either. Now I need to finish the inferno, and get the DCi rebuilt, eventually!

    AlexW's Driveway Antics :)

So, I should have been getting on with the Inferno this afternoon, but I decided to play with the new DCi. No pics of stripping it, as I just wanted to get on with it. But, half way through stripping it I found the timing to be about 120degrees out, suggesting the crank pulley has slipped, or...

fitting removing gearbox on a 172 how hard/easy expensive?

Its not that hard to do at all, I'd happily help if you're local. Drop the subframe entirely is my advice.

    Adjustable coilover question ?

Actually found this funny. Doing its everytime you visit your girlfriend? Mental. It could take an hour to raise & lower all of them. Besides, tracking will always be out, so you'll be ripping through tyres. you need air ride.

Small problem - Feels like ABS is kicking in low speed braking?

Check the amount of teeth too. Can get the wrong amount of teeth and that'd cause same issue.

Lowered 40mm roughly with arch lining problems

Pretty standard, bend the bumper bracket as mentioned, or wait for it to wear away, although I cut mine down slighty to stop some rubbing. Its not going to do any major damage, it is just plastic.

    what are these connections for?

Pretty much all 172's have those plugs. Looms are prepped for ESP, Cruise and manual headlight adjustement. To fit Cruise you only need that switch, squib and steering wheel buttons (plus airbag, or cut it). ESP is more involved though.
