from what you have said it sounds like the rear shocks need replacing.

the one in post #26 is anytyhing but boring... trust me.

yes, i used normal matt black paint on the inlets. and normal silver paint on the rocker cover. no need for high temp paint on either of them. not keen on the finish on vht paint.

mine engine bay was masked up and an old sheet in there to stop overspray, then painted with normal paint from a rattle can in a bright silver colour. no need for high temp paint. inlets were also painted while they were off. this is how it turned out...

will have a good check of the abs rings when i gegt a chance too. cheers.

as said in op... i have checked the pedal switch (adjusted it etc) although it was quite a loose fit where it twists into. seems fine tho with a little insulation tape around the clip.

and yes i have searched... its happening nearly every time i drive the car now. i drive for 5 mins and ESP and SERV come on together and stay on until i turn the engine off. once started again they are gone, 5 mins of driving again and they are back on. it also makes my cruise controll not work...

i take it you will be running the airbox straight off the tb eventually then, no bends? how does it perform as it is atm with a long inlet into the tb with x2 90 degree bends? i was going to go down the small battery and remove heat shield route a while back but i never got round to it. it...

looks good. i wouldn't have sanded the lettering black tho. all black ftw. engine bay is looking smart tho.

it is what its meant to do, yeah. cant really see it protecting much tho. and some peoples have even fallen off by themselves!!
