It's the first PistonHeads Sunday Service of the year at Silverstone this weekend so if you hang around the A43 you might also get to see some exotica... http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=65&t=1242856&mid=307108&nmt=RE%3A+PistonHeads+Sunday+Service%3A+17%2F02%2F13

    Dr Jekyll's BG182 Project Thread

Thanks mate, I don't think we did catch up but definitely will next time out! As for the 3/4 plate, I've had mine on for 18 months and although I only drive 4,000 miles a year I've never had any problems with it whatsoever.

Laptop advice needed - can you help?

Thanks for all the advice, there's certainly some food for thought there but the thought of spending over a grand on a laptop to do basic tasks like email & facebook seems ludicrous to me, but I'll keep an open mind for now. Not really but four figures is definitely over-budget. Ideally...

Laptop advice needed - can you help?

I'm after some advice as I know nothing about this. My other half and I have no fixed lines in our house so for internet we use a mobile broadband device (which is perfectly adequate) and 'borrow' our work computers for personal use, however, the time has come to get our own laptop. Our...

    Dr Jekyll's BG182 Project Thread

Just read this thread from the start and it's a good read with some tidy mods and a lovely graph from SRR. I appreciate it's a bit of a 'marmite' mod but in my opinion the front end is screaming out for a 3/4 plate.

    182 Trophy damper refurb?

It's a job that needs doing when it needs doing, and you'll KNOW when it needs doing. Some last years, some many thousands of miles, but they will need doing at some point. Not sure why you'd do them before they go to s**t though.

Changing head unit - 182 advice

Do you NEED one of these adapters, or does it depend on which head unit/manufacturer you upgrade to?

Changing head unit - 182 advice

I'm thinking about changing the standard head unit for something better... - Is it good practice to disconnect the battery before switching head units? - Where's the best/easiest place to route the iPod/USB cable - glovebox or elsewhere? - Is it necessary to remove the dash top in order to...

    Photoshop help, and a question...

As much as I agree with Rob and Luke (W) about keeping it on the standard wheels, which I agree really do maintain the 'mint' look, I also agree with Luke (M) that given the effort that's gone into the interior upgrades it really does need white wheels to match. If you're not happy with them...

Obviously it's very subjective, but white 2118s will look superb.
