As for the 3/4 plate, I've had mine on for 18 months and although I only drive 4,000 miles a year I've never had any problems with it whatsoever.
Thanks for all the advice, there's certainly some food for thought there but the thought of spending over a grand on a laptop to do basic tasks like email & facebook seems ludicrous to me, but I'll keep an open mind for now.

Just read this thread from the start and it's a good read with some tidy mods and a lovely graph from SRR.
I appreciate it's a bit of a 'marmite' mod but in my opinion the front end is screaming out for a 3/4 plate.
It's a job that needs doing when it needs doing, and you'll KNOW when it needs doing.
Some last years, some many thousands of miles, but they will need doing at some point.
Not sure why you'd do them before they go to s**t though.

As much as I agree with Rob and Luke (W) about keeping it on the standard wheels, which I agree really do maintain the 'mint' look, I also agree with Luke (M) that given the effort that's gone into the interior upgrades it really does need white wheels to match.
