Earlier this week I took my Trophy to Nick at Detail My Car in Newbury (www.DetailMyCar.co.uk).
It went in with the paint looking quite dull, significant tree sap build-up and a few (recent) bird bombs, a heavily stone-chipped bonnet with some further chips at various places on the bodywork...
Maybe it wouldn't decrease the value but it might restrict your target market - a little or a lot, who knows? That in turn might force you to lower the price if it didn't sell.
Would it increase value? No, IMO it would not.

Cheers Jamie.
Thanks Chip, I appreciate it's not a power or handling mod but it definitely feels faster now! ;)
Ha ha, cheers Oli. I'll sort another pool catch-up for later in the summer, watch this space.
With my limited photography skills and basic equipment (iPhone) it's really hard to...
Welcome to the forum sunnysideup.
When you've been on the forum for a while you'll understand why you got the responses you did and you'll also realise this forum is an invaluable resource you'll turn to time and time again.

Unfortunately I don't have any decent photos yet because I've only just picked up the car this morning, but yesterday #455 spent the day with Detail My Car. It was treated to a full enhancement detail and sealed with CarPro CQuartz Finest then Reload on top. I'm so impressed with the results...
Find out where the cheapest place is to insure your desired vehicle, then move there.
The alternative - upgrade each year from 1.2 to 1.4, then to 1.6 the following year etc etc. By the time you're 40 you'll be in a 5.0L V8.
You might be better off posting in the relevant local section, assuming you want to travel down with people from your region? If you're in Cornwall but don't mind travelling up to Birmingham to convoy down with the Midlands lot then ignore my comment.
They share the same tread pattern but use a different compound, and the AD08R is the replacement for the outgoing AD08, is what I've been led to believe.
I'm trying to get some accurate info on when the new AD08R tyres will arrive in the UK but with limited success so far. Does anyone have any contacts at Yokohama UK?
Saw him at the last Action Day - it's a quick car that. I think he's a member of the obsessive personality disorder club ;) so will be mates with Rich Williams, Chip, Lesley & Dan etc.
What are your initial impressions of them & the Sachs up front?
As per sj's comments, it does look low at the rear but not so much at the front. Needs more 'tractor' ;)
I'm pinning my hopes on Cooksport springs & a set of 15s looking the business. Here's hoping - please post those pics up...
How soon can/should Reload be applied after Finest?
Did I read somewhere that not only does it give a glossier finish but it also assists with the week-long curing time so can be done immediately?
Well that's close to being a 900 mile round trip from me to you & back so a listen will have to wait for another time ;)
Look forward to the video, meanwhile, thanks for the positive comments - looks like yet another raid on the savings fund is in order!
What brand of sub is it Charlie, and are you happy with the performance, quality and depth it provides? I'm really interested in getting an under-seat sub and you're the first I've seen with experience!
Where are you based Charlie, and are you planning on going to FCS this year? I'd love to...
