Been spending lots on suspension and brakes and other bits and bobs on the Clio. I have decided that I want to keep this car, I have really grown attached to it, its been a labor of love.
I'm rapidly approaching 150,000 miles on the original engine. Oil is changed regular enough and come oil...
Again, balljoints, inner/outer trackrods were done within the last 12 months. All genuine Renault.
Will investigate the subframe wishbone mounting points for wear on the weekend. Have just ordered a Pure strutbrace and mounts and will get the full set of engine mounts from Ktec including the...
When I say new, I mean less than a year and well under 10k Miles. I think they were replaced in Aug last year from memory. The car has Just been through its APK (MOT) and there was no play reported. I have just replaced the anti roll bar bushes.
I'm lost, understand that the wandering under...
Hey,
I have a new knocking noise. Its more of a deep metallic clunk/click. This Thud like knock is different to my previous as it moves from left to right within the engine bay.
Now, when on motorway if I accelerate hard the car will steer off to the right, then when I decelerate the car...
So errr, I had kwikfit do some work on my car. Today I had my anti roll bar bushes changed (inner/outer). Car feels great however.....
It turns out when I had the same place change my wishbones some time ago they fitted Renault 19 wishbones.
They have today had to fit different outer roll bar...
260,000 KM
24 laps of the ring.
40+ laps of zandvoort
I drove into the local garage this morning for her yearly APK (mot).
I snapped the handbrake cables about 6 months ago. Apart from the handbrake she passed with flying colours.
No one cares here at work, so I have to vent here. Very...
I think i have a vid of the ring in the e30 too. That track is an old convert from rfactor. Lienz 24 hour its called. Love the track, bit like a rally stage.
I can't play anything other than Assetto corsa at the moment. I went back to project cars and Raceroom... however they just feel so...
Never seen that before. Jesus.. Take your eyes off that thing for even a split second.. its going to eat your face off. Seems to just want to fully rotate on its axis with every steering input.
I love watching these. There are many I could have posted, however the one that always has me questioning my perception of physics is this...
Shame about the quality. The driving however...
Any other great vids?
They are TR1's. I have used the car on track... however these particular tyres have not made it to track yet. I'm pretty gutted as they have massive tread right up to the wear on the edge.
Coming off motorways here in the Netherlands they have lovely big sweeping bends, i suspect this is there...
Please see the attatched photo. Is this because of my poor driving? Or is this because of poor tracking? I have had the car tracked 6 times this year alone. Lots of new parts on suspension and steering.
This is drivers side (lhd car), passenger side is not as bad as this side.
I feel you missed the point. Its not designed for PC users. Its for console users to bring them in line with PC users like us. Its Valves solution to get the PC into the lounge, where the console boys live. To me its pretty exciting, if we can shift even a small percentage of console users onto...
I have a clunk that has developed that sounds very similar to you. I also have the slight wandering sensation (however I think these things just like to tram). I'm thinking the "clunk"may be my anti roll bar. I'm going to replace the bushes and see if this helps.
They also have worked very close with Ferrari, have been involved in their simulator and they made a standalone game for Ferrari a year or two back with three cars including the F1. Nectar Pro was pretty good. Agree with you on LFS in terms of physics, I used to love driving the little Nissan...
I put it ahead of project cars. The physics are in a different league. Obviously project cars developing week by week, however even the cars with close to finished physics models are no where near as "Close to real" feeling as the cars in Assetto Corsa.
The tracks are all laser scanned, so...
