Sash means the hot pipe gasket on at the flange. It is a single use gasket and will leak. It was the case that the exact same part from Nissan was cheaper than from Renault. Defo change it when you can.
Looks like a sportex or Ashley system?
Remember having an Ashley system on my nova sr back in the day, I could park it across the road running and hear it in my house!
Yep, this was a couple of years ago, but it was £96 I think to buy them from rpd, but four ashes supplied and fitted them for about £93.60 inc vat. It was a no brainer really.
When I had my Clio, I had the spark plugs done by a specialist as for some reason it was near enough the same price for them to do it than it was for me to buy them. Might be worth checking some specialists? Crazy expensive spark plugs.
Sounds like me buying mk1 trophy alloys thinking they were different, to find they are just standard 18’s diamond cut. 🤦
Although to be fair to you, if your wheel was standard the facelift wheel is different in it has perforated leather on the sides and the solid 12 o’clock mark instead of a...
If you look up d7r in Telford
sorry, it’s a reworking of the backbox internals. Adds a nice amount of noise.
If you search d7r you will see more videos. He has done loads of Clio’s and other cars too.
If I get another Clio 200/220, I will without doubt get it done again.
I had my second cat removed and also instead of having a full system, had a ghost mod done to it by a place in Telford. This added much needed noise and excitement to the drive.
I fitted a 220 intake (which is basically what the above kit mimics) and it did ‘feel’ different, but I didn’t get it dyno’d or mapped to tell. It was a genuine 220 intake and pipe, which I think someone on the bookface page can supply, or Renault themselves.
When I had mine I also bought a module from turkey off AliExpress, which you fit into the mirror wiring, so when you lock and unlock the car the mirrors fold like they do on later cars.
Also make sure you put a clamp around the bung on the intake pipe, there have been instances of them flying off and damaging the bonnet. (I say instances, I’ve read of 2 but wouldn’t want it happening!)
