Oops I did it again... Adey's Clio 200 EDC

It removes some of the noise into the cabin, the fake induction noise, but has also been known to fix a noise from behind the dash. I can vouch for the rear axle spacers from pure motorsport. Easy to fit and make a difference.

You both need a mullet to go with the truck! And some cowboy boots.

That’s probably rarer now than some of the other spotted cars in here, especially as it looks to be in good condition!

    Creating a OEM+ Daily BG 182

Some really good progress you’ve made and some good future proofing coming up. A ph1 gearknob was one of the nicest things I did to my 182, makes such a difference in look and feel. Such a shame Renault skimped on the ph2 gearknob!

Oops I did it again... Adey's Clio 200 EDC

There is enough movement in the hub downwards to make it relatively easy. I saw a method of putting a thin piece of metal in the gap, putting the bolt back in and tightening it to spread the gap.

Oops I did it again... Adey's Clio 200 EDC

They have a slip bolt so not like a 182 suspension. It’s a little tricky but I managed it easily enough once I got the hang of it.

Oops I did it again... Adey's Clio 200 EDC

I had H&R on my 200 and the ride was really decent. I’ve never had H&R on another car so can’t compare, but I was really impressed. They were £150 when I bought them early last year, but now they are a lot more expensive.

Oops I did it again... Adey's Clio 200 EDC

Yeah I think the software limits it to 1500 launches if I remember correctly. A nice res and second cat delete would give a subtle change to exhaust note.

Oops I did it again... Adey's Clio 200 EDC

Excellent purchase. I noticed that one for sale and thought it was priced really well. Looks a nice car, a wheel refurb isn’t a major deal. I am very jealous! 😔

    Clio RS Mk4 versions/revisions

It stops the confusion of the box at junctions but also speeds up the changes at slow speed, especially from cold. Although manual changes didn’t change I don’t think. I personally felt that it was much better but appreciate everyone has different perceptions.

    Clio RS Mk4 versions/revisions

@Daz. Tamworth Renault did it for me. Every other dealer I rang had no idea what I was talking about and didn’t seem interested in checking. Tamworth I believe had a tech that had one himself so was aware of the update. It was in for a few hours and was like night and day afterwards.

    Clio RS Mk4 versions/revisions

Yes as has been said above the software can be put on the earlier models, but finding a dealer who knows about it can be a mission in itself. But it was 100% worth it for drive-ability. It cost about £70 from memory. RS monitor can be programmed onto a car fitted with r-link. I managed it but...

    Original sat-nav for the MK2

It would be cool if you could get one and retrofit it but with a side load of android, so for shows you’d have the original sat nav but for use you’d have up to date stuff. Or just get a housing (rare as rocking horse poo) and put a double din in.

I miss my 200 edc more than nearly any other car, but if your getting a 5 turbo AND can drive the Clio on weekends, it’s a good idea.

I’ve replaced a couple and if it’s soldered in like most is quite simple if you have a steady hand and a soldering iron. Definately worth a go as they are only a few quid.
