Gents.
After getting back into a very well species 172 cup for all of 180miles it's gone into limp mode!! It was lightly misfiring the other day on my way home from work but this was from cold so I didn't think too much of it.
I purchased a Chinese clip diagnostic tool as I'm always buying...
Unfortunately this has been broken, a 182 came along that I just couldn't refuse and space issues has led me I break this. Some of the parts will live on. Shame is it was really tidy.
So the rear bumper is now fully installed, the headlight clips/screws are now sourced but ive not fitted my grille as I want to do some wet sanding this weekend.
Also fitted my Phase 2 rear lights – not wired in yet but just needed to clear space and old parts.
As my missus has gone away...
Today I went to a scrap yard and picked up the following:
2 x phase 2 rear lights
the various nuts and bolts and top mount bits

I have an engine mount and 2 rear callipers on the way to me.
I spent another 2 hours on the car but didn’t really make great...
The best thing about this week was the wheels I picked up for it – 16 inch super leggeras with tyres and centre caps, for a whopping £90, 2 mins from my house via facebook.
Whilst this was all going on I contacted Adam on here about his semi stripped 172 project, This is now where the...

God knows how he done this. It's a one way road with 2 lanes. Could have killed someone.
He's only had the car a couple of weeks apparently, I purchased a few parts off the previous owner and it popper up on Facebook earlier.
Whatever happened he was speeding, and risking lives. Prick
when you got the previous i thought its not gonna show off your detailing skills enough. This is a great choice and no doubt you shall enjoy keeping it clean!
sorry if this has been mentioned
But ive just gone into safari to see about the layout and its got my ipad and macbook pro pages on there aswell! very happy with this!
got this 20 minutes ago. its awesome, love the swipe to delete feature when closing apps. The whole visual is like already mentioned 'android' like but i love it.
i think i described it to a colleague as 'colourful' and 'fun' which is exactly what was needed.
Gents,
I have recently purchased a set of Wietec coilovers for my phase 1.
Now this is going to be my daily, but i would very much like to do some track day, if this happens i cant see it being more than 4-6 a year. so my question is should i sell on the Weitecs and get some standards dampers...
Thanks guys. I went to Renault and yes you can't get rear damper bits separately so I went to a Scrappie and got rear damper bolts and rubber mounts plus got the track rod end nuts aswell.
Gents.
I have the last bits I need to get my Clio on all 4 wheels and onto a trailor.
What I need to know Is the size and thread pitch of the following nuts
Rear damper top nuts
Track rod end nuts
I'm awaiting a call back from Renault and I will
Probably order them but they are useless and I...
