I always see this discussion on car forums, lowering springs and standard shocks. I have no issue with standard shocks, as they all work the same within their working area, only becomes an issue if they are bottoming out, which it shouldn't be if your springs are correctly matched for the...
My sunroof doesn't leak, but I hate it, and its one thing that makes my rep look wrong. I want to change the roof skin on, I know its gonna be a bloody hard job though. Probs going to need a second hand skin too.
I'd be well happy with that kind of power, Would be cool if it was faster than a 182 lol.
130 will be a good starting point if nothing else. Get a smaller rad, its not like a diesel gets hot enough to need such a big rad to start with.
Yaah will do, I'm unsure when its gonna happen yet...
More expensive oils have friction inhibitors in them, I learnt about some of this due to motorbikes, as friction inhibitors makes a wet clutch completely useless, cheaper oils don't normally have such. However, I always use comma oil as I can get it cheaply, and when I'm changing it every few...
Yeah with black I can understand. At least if you keep it black you can get away with boggo gloss black lol.
The 1.9 is winning so far tbh. Moreso the fact can pick up a laguna cheap as chips. I reckon it'll still take a bit of hassle, A/C and alternator stick out a hella long way, and I want...
Grind the bolts :D
The FK spacers I got from dmallett have taken an amazing amount of abuse on my car, never even had to re-torque, although I have the wheels off so often I wouldn't notice. When we borrowed one of the spacers for Marks was the first time I've removed one of them since fitting...
I hate mismatched engine bays tbh. My 1.5 is amazingly dry considering the miles its done and how little its had done!
I don't think I'll need to worry about forged internals, I don't intend to take it that far!
Really depends. Out of the box the 1.9 will be 120bhp & 200 lbft (that figure...
Hard to pick a favoruite, Liquid Yellow, Inferno, Black gold and sunflower are all awesome colours.
But then, Iceburg can look awesome when the blue in it shines through, and Titanium looks aweosme above.
Artic/mondial used to be my fave, but too common now, Much like Arden Blue Vauxhalls.
I'll start by saying I've never used one like this, But, I worry about low cars and being able to see the mirror, May require removal of the front bumper, which isn't a big deal on most Clio's, and the other thing I suggest to anybody using this kind of kit, get the turntable's for under the...
I would like to know what it would look like on 20mm's, but my 25's looked awesome on it.
5mm is such a small amount though.... swings and roundabouts.
Having four silver wheels on it, it does look much better, much fresher. Need to sort tyres now though!
And yeah, I can't believe how much its changed tbh.
My plan is to respray it first, exterior only, then do the bay when I do the conversion. I don't want to be doing the conversion in...
Seem to be posting here everyday at the min! I must love it again?!
Yesterday, I failed to get pics, but I changed the subframe and wishbones (182 Cup stuff), So now run some extra caster, and have finally sorted the front gearbox mount, not that I have pics. Took it to get tracked up this...
Re: dmallett's titanium ph1
Already! Theres not so many bits on this that I want now lol.
I need one of those hats for my gearstick, hella cold in the mornings.
I'll see about buying some anyway, and I'll PM you in a mo :)
Sports have a slight roll on the rear arches from factory. Hence why no sport will have rubbing issues with that amount of spacer.
I don't plan to go flat with them, just a half roll, much like the sports.
Plan to change the...
I should have worded that differently. Its on the gearbox, where the gear linkage rod ends and connects to gearbox, litrally just needs the spring (Assuming that is what it is, but if its floppy etc, most likely!)
What I was thinking, Will have to sort myself some, Don't fancy it falling off.
Disc rear beam is wider to start with, no idea how much by, but mine has 10mm spacers too so is a lot wider. Catches the arches slightly, but arch roller is being sorted!
Just read through the whole thread (Surprised myself that I hadn't before tbh, I love a clean flamer), loooks lovely and clean.
I know you said a little while ago you was running out of ideas, but any future plans for it now?
