It depends on what it is that you don't like about them, is it the feel of the keys or the switches? If it's keycaps you have a lot of choice - ABS are cheaper ones and feel cheap (whether they're single mold or double-shot), or there's PBT ones which feel better to type on and are made better...

Yes, but power-saving mode can also affect the Speedstep as well - have you checked to see what its set to? Tbh it sounds more like a gpu slow-down than cpu, but could be either. But again, both can be caused by that.

Go to the battery settings in windows, and change when On Power to High performance, should fix your issues - it's probably set to Power Saving!

Yeah for sure, my friend has a 5 at the moment and is looking at the OPO, he actually has an invite but I think he's going to let it expire. He's trying to decide between a 6+ and an OPO - imo it's an easy decision!

Depends on the theme :smile: There's a crapload in the Play store (if you're using the Themes Showcase i think you can find those in the store too), otherwise check the Themes section on XDA Developers, there's a lot of good free ones on there :smile: Check out Material Hazy - I use that theme...
