You are lucky then.
You only have to do a quick google to see their SSD issues, primarily down to using Sandforce controllers, they are the highest failure rate manufacturer of SSDs! :] It may not be the case now, I don't really follow their SSD's, but it's not one I'd ever risk buying when...
But what does Reg number give you?
a. it will cost to HPI
b. it may not be recorded as stolen yet
c. how do you prove the owner owns it without the owner giving you documentation he wont want to give you for a bumper or whatever you're buying
d. if it's classed as a writeoff, do you follow up...
There's feedback on here also :]
And in all honesty, if I was selling a stolen cars parts, I wouldn't sell it on a car forum where you have to buy membership to make adverts, which requires an address, paypal etc.
People on car forums are generally enthusiasts so are more likely to notice...
Yeah pretty much, as I say they tend to slow down when around 10% space left, so if you were only 70-80% full before and 70% free now, you'll be a while away from getting there :]
You won't slow it down unless you have around 10% space left. Using the Samsung just for Windows would be a complete waste!
I'd bin off the OCZ and buy another more reputable drive tbh.
Don't see the point in splitting things up anymore, drives are cheap enough to keep it all on one without...
Do people elsewhere have to prove it, and how would they prove it?
I get what you're saying, but the reality is just no. Check eBay, physicial breaker yards and anywhere else you can buy car parts from - absolutely none of them prove to anyone they own the car!
Tesco force farmers to sell their milk at a loss to them, so I'd say that's technically stealing.
Do you check the source of every product you buy to ensure it's not stolen?
Damn, just watched the 2 extra Chris Harris vids, awesome stuff.
Really goes to show how much effort goes into actually making the cars he has. Haters probably still gonna hate.
Built not bought is a true case here.
Tbh I probably have, but I stopped noticing Clios so much when none were on here, I'd put up a spotted thread and get no replies every time :D
I'll keep an eye out for you though!
Ohhh, cool :)
I had a Silver 182 also, but recently sold it for a Golf R :) so if you see a Red one around, it's probably me! (not seen another Red in Worc anyway).
There's not that many Clio's in Worc tbh, at least when I see some, they're never on here lol!
Hey,
Certainly up for a meet!
Nightingale is a good shout too :)
Where abouts are you in Worc samuels? I'll have to keep a look out!
I'm at the top of St Johns now, but regularly over in Warndon Villages!
@..Jack.. maybe worth organizing the Worc one on a weekend, though coming up to Xmas...
