I would consider looking into lighter wheels and some AST suspension.
You may also come up against some opposition from other competitors regarding the front slam panel being missing when you start winning

If you have coilovers try putting more preload on the n/s/f or have it professionally corner weighted.
Also on a static rolling road brake test you can't factor in for load transfer under braking so it will only tell you the brakes efficiency up until the lock point, where as you need to find...
Theyre bullshitting you, they won't be AD08 (non r) they stopped production in 2012 and there is definitely none of those left as all the hillclimbers bought the last of the old stock up 2 years ago

Mine was a gripper with 5.25 CWP built by mark (Northloop), it was f**king mental on the hillclimb considering it was only running 438 cams and some koni adjustables, no other Clio could get near it.
Check your gearing requirements on track though as with standard 1*2 ratios it will top out at...
I fitted a set the end of last season in the hillclimber and would lock if you were Neanderthal on the pedal. but i found them very good but did change back to 1144s if it was pissing it down.
AD08 (not the r) are the best 1a tyre for dry conditions by a mile

I have a set for of the Ad08 in 195 50 15 with 6-7mm tread for sale due to not racing this season but due to rarity (no longer made) they aren't cheap, I'm looking for £220 for a set of 4...
Hopefully the new alternator is ok as they don't like running open circuit, when you have fitted the ring crimp and got it started check you're still getting around 13.8-14.3 volts with the engine running
