Wow packing and getting the car ready for trackdays is soooo much easier than for a race weekend! All packed and loaded in about 20 mins this afternoon :) Cadwell tomorrow which will be good!
Asked Chris at CMComposites for a last minute set of brake ducts as trying to give the brakes some...
Haha yours is a cracking engine mate but I already have a 182 engine at Fred's ready for a build just need to decide on spec and find some money lol! Got a good list of what I think I'm going to do :)
F4R cams are actually quite difficult to manufacture as the oil feed runs through the cam. This limits them to only being able to made on the more expensive machines.
I don't know about the pug cams but this could be the reason.
Roll cage I imagine is because there is actually more material...
280bhp will do me nicely then ;) Chop chop :star:
Not yet been giving it a good checkover will put the seat in tomorrow and might put the intercom in too
Mmm could be but never really heard of it before and I don't think to power the EPAS it ever uses anything like 60 amps but I agree it worth checking :)

Do it, do it, do it ;) lol
Okay mate once the diff is sold if Dave doesn't take it i'll let you know :)
Silly question probably but you have wired the little box of tricks in correctly? I remember I think a black wire which had to be connected to a positive (I just assumed it was an earth as it was black)

With two more trackdays coming up this year for the car (Cadwell on Sunday and Croft the following Thursday) i've been trying to put my finger on where I can improve the car moving forwards. The main issue i've had this year has been the brakes, most of the time they have been amazing but...
Thanks Andy :) Yes I can still remember when it was built and was slower than my roadcar 197 round Donington lol! Bit of a turnaround which was the aim for me this year so I have succeeded. Wouldn't have cost a penny more to build it like this originally but anyway I suppose thats history now :)
No mate my chaps didn't end up racing so a bit far to come along :( would of been nice to be there and watch! Will be easier once I live in Milton Keynes. Hope Ian and co did well??
Thanks everyone for all the nice comments :)
Pretty much lol!
LOL I was impressed! Shame the picture wasn't very clear haha
Great stuff I can't wait for it! Passenger seat is ready so I can give you a go to make up for Oulton ;)

I had no real interest to get more...
So a bit of a collection of pictures since Oulton in the prep for Donington and then at Donington :)
Forged pistons to remove the chance of future ringland failure
Installing
Thick Headgasket much to Fred’s annoyance but I didn’t really want to increase the CR so this was the solution...
