    My Clio with Plastidip :)

I tried getting this stuff off my OZ F1's last week. Dear god it's not as easy as I believed.

The Power PC Thread [f*ck off consoles]

100% You need a solid state, it will change the whole experience. Use it for Windows and the apps, store anything like pictures/videos etc on a mechanical HDD where you have the space. The Samsung 840 Pro's have very good reviews, a new version of it is due soon which is meant to be quicker...

Do i need spring compressors for new springs

I've just fitted cooksports to cup shocks, as above - not needed. I did have a 1.2 spring slip and go off between my legs when the clamps slipped, caused my knee to bounce off the concrete. Very lucky not to lose my leg that day. My local halfords will also fit them for £5 if it's quiet in the...

    ATE Super Blue

I've flushed the old blue stuff with the new, I was just curious as to why it came about (And If I'd get a slap on the wrist!) :rasp:

    ATE Super Blue

I know this stuff is quite commonly used on here, however when I checked a tub I got the other day, It now has "Not for road use" printed on it! I purchased a bottle around a year ago and it does not have that label, has something new came in regulation wise ? Wonder if it will be checked on...

Front ARB - How on earth!

I done mine yesterday on the PH1 with powerflex black and can confirm they are an absolute nightmare (And Mine had the subframe off the car !) Basically a 2 person job with a big pair of grips to compress it at the top, throw the bolt in and get a few threads, then adjust the grips to a place...

    172 Hub

I'm quite surprised they bent in the first place given the strength of them, however I suspect you are correct regarding how. I'd like to avoid replacing them if possible, the front bearings are pretty steep for what they are, not to mention I've just spent an arm and a leg replacing all of the...

    172 Hub

Hiya, Just had new front bearings pressed into the PH1 hubs and noticed one of the connecting arms for the calliper has bent. Anybody have any idea what material the hubs are ? I thought there were cast iron but from what I've seen, cast iron does not like to bend ! Hoping I can heat up the arm...

Renault newbie.... Vouched never to buy one :-S

Pretty solid cars, just alot of examples are run into the ground or done on the cheap (Because it's essentially a shopping trolley) People not using timing tools (Tipex) or ebay timing tools that bend when torquing the pulleys seems to be more common place on here then you would see on other...

    Newbie from Preston here.

Try disconnecting the waterline that comes up from the bay onto the bonnet and firing them up, they can block up at the various points if something got into the filler.

    Internet speed thread.

I managed to get a very respectable 49D / 30U via 4G in Newcastle on the weekend ! It does tend to fluctuate a lot though.

    Brake Caliper Bolt Stuck

The usual WD40 and shock, from there i'd try applying some heat. if it's the bolt I'm thinking of - you could buy a new slider and bolt and take a grinder to it as it's easy to replace. Best of luck, I'm currently replacing the aged suspension on my PH1 so I feel your pain !

Does anybody have issues with the Nvidia Experience and drivers refusing to update ? It tells me I have an update due, I click install and it just closes ! I also have issues installing drivers directly from the site, I think I need to rebuild :/

    Realtime Graphics / Game Engines

Aye, I got that one initially, then I got one for X3DAudio1_7.dll (Which I believe is a component of DX11) It was on the works laptop, so that's probably the fault right there :rasp:

Mines takes about 800ml LOL I think I'll give the red a try eventually, been running prime95 to see how the fluid holds up - it's settled at 46 degrees on an Alphacool dual 120 (60mm thick) EK 2.2 pump on a 3820 I7 which is overclocked to a light 4.4 Was thinking of putting the graphics on the...

Yep Mayhems, it's the Aurora gen 2 fluid - Don't believe it's released yet. This one has finer particles, and is meant to last the life of a normal coolant. Temperatures seem much the same as the EK fluid I was using previously and it seems to be playing nicely with the jet plate so all is well...

Fitted a few new parts yesterday and filled with the new mayhem aurora 2 (Supernova with Yellow dye) that I managed to get a hold of. It's not finished, so be gentle, but it need's some sleeved power cables and something to go in the PCI slots (Thinking a creative card of some variety or...
