try Renault goodwill on gearbox first- If you can get 90% then that's worth it- depends on service history. otherwise out it. PS get your price then strip the recaros out of it.

No cup spoiler often means wheels refurbed to look like cup chassis alloys- Just a comment, so you know. it may only be a non cup chassis car which is worth less ( not worthless ) Check the invoice for the belts- hopefully someone respectable ( check for cambelt kit + aux belt KIT) good...

theres only a handful of specialists id go to ( or at least endorse a cambelt) The rest- I would just get it done again. - you know 99% the rest have used the cheapest belt & no aux belt kit. Just another cheap belt. S

As I understand your getting it in PX so why would you pay more. Max out of that car with selling the mods is ~ £1400

PX that for about 1k its been to the moon so irrespective of condition or mods the mileage sets the price. S

Probably the speedo drive. It will just keep getting worse- at least your miles wont go up ;) Cheap to replace.

expect to pay between 700-1000 for one then another 1-1.5 to mint it. My advice would be find one on lowish miles with OK history for around £750 & then spend another £1250 to get it mint including belts. There is no such thing as a PH1 that doesn't need money spending unless its 1 of 5 on...

I would amend your search to have RECAROS- don't take the leather as its just the standard square seats - avoid GT spoiler- looks rubbish. Speedlines & Cup chassis are a must. Try & get the pleated recaros in leather- uber rare. Check the gearbox & steering rack.
